The EFL selections haven't made either for that weekend

Sky no longer have any EPL game on the Sunday due to losing both games to the FA Cup

So hopefully they confirm when the Aberdeen this week and maybe with a decent kick-off time on the Sunday if that is the day

Is it possible that sky were waiting for the European fixtures to be decided

Any team playing in the second leg on the Thursday will find their fixture moved to a Sunday/Monday

Already confirmed on that Manchester United play Thursday so Sunday for their semifinal

35 games picked so far they’ll be lucky to make it to 40 this season. It’s a joke they have the rights to up to 48 games but we’ll only get 40ish could you imagine they done that with the EPL picks, you’ll have had 3 Edinburgh derbys not on the telly that’s embarrassing.

Tin pot Scottish football at its best.

1st Edinburgh derby was on TV this season, next month's one at Easter Road is on PPV

The original broadcast TV deal for the EPL was just 60 games a season for the 1st 4/5 seasons of it so they have have been there - currently 200 of the 380 are shown also their tending process involves the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport

Was Liverpool v City one 5-30 ? I thought I got home early from that game but maybe I left early when it was 3-0 lol
Last season

Saturday 3-30 due to been on Easter weekend and engineering works on the railways meant no trains form the North West

We played them the next day at Hampden

Any reason Sky don't show 2 games on a weekend to make up the 48?
Yes they’re only allowed to each ground 4 times this hampers their selection process. That has been agreed by the clubs. I believe it will rise to 5 times a season when the new tv deal kicks in.
If there was to be 2 from every weekend round then the contract needs to be that

38 rounds in total say 33/34 fall on the weekend then you 66/68 games in the contract plus additional to cover the midweek games

The limit on how many times wouldn't really affect that

True but should they both finish in the top 6 then the last one won’t be on the tv either 1 out of 4 is really poor.

How do you know it won't be - that is down to Sky to decide

a) it will be at Tynecastle
b) Hearts have only 2 home games so far picked so still have the 4 game quota to allow it

In the past there has been more 4 games shown on TV per ground went to 6 when it was 60 games as season even when it a split contract as well

I guess that is down to agreement of the clubs?

Thanks makes it difficult then I see. Cheaper for them not to bother covering the full number of games if only rubbish left.

14th April

Middlesbrough v Norwich
Ross County v Aberdeen

Both live on Sky

yet on 1st February Hearts v Rangers wasn't shown due to Sky showing Manchester United v Nottingham Forest in the English League Cup Semi-final - shows they can could have shown it
