Lawells letter to Regan sent in 2012

Only in Scottish football would you find a character as morally bankrupt as Peter Lawell, a guy who sits at the head of the table for an organisation responsible for ruining the lives of several children, an organisation who have made every attempt to cover this up. A a man who see's fit to use ex players and coaches deaths to his clubs advantage whilst shouting about "sporting integrity" from his high horse..............yet here he is, doing his absolute best to %^*& Rangers over and imply that it's us who are damaging Scottish football.

What a vile, slimey, unrepentant bastard the fat Japanese is.

I await the day that the corrupt bastard Liewell gets fully exposed for his lies, cover up's and deceptions, with Scottish Journo's wrapped round his finger it maybe a while but eventually that lady's front bottom will be exposed.

While our board are all about building bridges.....

Quite who they are actually building bridges with remains to be seen given its a two way street.

Rangers should be on the front foot here and ask for a copy of the reply to this letter

We should then write a letter of our own calling out Celtic on various issues fake tours etc and then leak it

Keep the nuclear option up our sleeve

We should then just ban the cunts from our stadium for next months game

The SFA should hammer the fat prick for bringing the game into disrepute by constantly droning on about this.
Unfortunately they won't as they are all bum chums together.

If stripping titles was even remotely possible then it would have happened already. Anything more about it now is just noise from the usual aggrieved parties.

I agree, they should bring out statement saying it is closed and any clubs calling for further action will be dealt with.
And then they will agree with Liewell

So Lawell a man who used a tax avoidance scheme .The CEO of a club whose financial director , manager and players used similar tax avoidance schemes wants titles stripped from Rangers for using a tax avoidance scheme .
The stench of hypocrisy is overwhelming , I wonder why the Scottish mhedia have not picked up on this glaring anomaly  only joking of course

Should be an inquiry in to all of it, including the 5 way agreement...

All lip service, he was on the board along with all his cronies and still couldn't strip the titles.

This is nothing more than a "leak" so his own idiot supporters lay off him a bit. PR Trump style you might say.

This year Lawwell called for an enquiry. The SFA said in a statement they would take no further action.

The rest of the article is based on Lawwell asking for an enquiry in May 2012. The LNS Commission was set up in August 2012. So Lawwell got his enquiry.

It's no a current story. It's historical. It is a story being used to rekindle the title stripping.

Note that Spiers in The Times was the chosen bucket Lawwell chose to piss the information into. No coincidence.

Is this correct ? I followed a link to The Times to an article under the byline of Ewing Grahame - 2 dogs from the same litter mind you.

LNS report is dated 28 February 2013. So what is the previous enquiry to which Lawwell refers in his letter of 2012?

It appears to me that Lawwell called for an enquiry in 2012 and he got one - the LNS Commission. It was commissioned in 2012 and reported in February 2013.

Mischief making by Spiers.

There's a follow up story about their recent post-tax case letter to the SFA

Celtic press SFA for inquiry into Rangers financial saga

Celtic are still pressing the Scottish FA into agreeing a probe into the roles played by governing bodies in the run-up to, during, and after Rangers’ administration and subsequent liquidation in 2012.

According to The Times, the Scottish FA are still to respond to Celtic’s request from two months ago for a full judicial inquiry.

The newspaper is reporting that Celtic are of the opinion that ‘more stringent rules, checks and balances’ should be put in place partly to ‘restore confidence in the Scottish FA’ but also to ensure that Rangers or any other club are unable to accumulate such insurmountable debts in the future.

The Times also reports that a letter sent by Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell to Scottish FA chief Stewart Regan in the spring of 2012 called for a judicial review of the saga but also pressed for title-stripping and the removal of national cup victories between 1999 and 2010 to be included as part of sanctions against Rangers.

If he or his rancid club had an ounce of decency they would admit this episode is as good as over - but no, they keep it alive and in so doing keep adding fuel to the hatred that has grown up on both sides over the last few years. They, and their Nat chums, are a major contributor to the unhealthy divisions in Scottish society.

Celtic Peter writes letter to SFA Stewart.

SFA Stewart runs along corridor to SFA Peter.

SFA Stewart to SFA Peter, "Have you seen this letter from Celtic Peter?"

SFA Peter says it would show a lack of integrity to comment on a letter from Celtic Peter.

Aye, I'm sure it went just like that, What else?
It's like a cross between Yes Minister and Fawlty Towers set in a third world banana republic, except no one's laughing.
Yet it is Rangers which makes Scottish football a laughing stock.

Now that it is out in the open, I would love to know why our board have not called for an investigation into all matters in scottish football in the last 50-60 years, which would include the BJK cover up.

The tims are clearly speaking to the SFA etc on the sneaky. Time our board stood up for the club and called the bheasts out

It's funny how this comes out in the build up to there AGM in which we are the most talked about subject. This has been done to appease there scum support.

That'll keep the horde happy. Even if all possible avenues of action were closed, the filth would push their board to keep this alive.

It states that Celtic are ".....pressing the Scottish FA into agreeing a probe into the roles played by governing bodies in the run-up to, during, and after Rangers’ administration and subsequent liquidation....." So they seem to be after the governing bodies. The SFA responded in a statement rejecting any further action.

I'd like a review of the roles played by the governing bodies - the five way agreement, transfer embargo, the role played by Ballantyne (sic), the response to "fan power", allowing club directors to ignore their fiduciary responsibilities etc etc etc.

Celtic want more stringent rules. Okay.

The last paragraph is a historical reference to stripping titles.

It's a non story. Going over old ground and lacing the title stripping into the story.

The Fat Japanese truly is a horrible, conniving, duplicitous, hypocritical bastard.....and that's me being kind!
