Rather than slagging us off and saying he is making a mistake he could easy hold himself with a little class.

‘I understand terms have been agreed and he is due a medical. Obviously transfers are never complete until they are and I really think he should consider staying with us for x, y and z reasons’

Rather than saying the boys a fool and making the wrong choice.

Same as derby allegedly trying to throw money at SG to get him interested. It’s desperate moves that just make them look like mugs.

We are in Europe, where is Charlton? He'll get more experience here

If he is at Charlton, he'll be a lower end Championship player for a few years then down the leagues

Simply not true with regards players not being able to go to epl from us or them. There’s a catalogue of them mostly from that lot in recent years. However with us looking and becoming the dominant force in Scotland we will be selling good players down there for good amounts.

"when players go to celtic and rangers it ends their careers"

Absolute drivel

Plenty of rangers and tims players have went to bigger and better and thrived.

Ryan kent alones market value has more than doubled thanks to Gerrard, i hate to credit the tims with anything but van dyk has went on to be one of top 3 defenders in the world.

Hes bitter, and its a good sign for us because it shows we have snapped up a good player.

The

Highlight the pot shots at Rangers.
Highlight a bigger bunch of Scottish football critics than FF.
Doing the best for his club would be saying "it's a shame but we would have loved him to stay, Charlton is a great place to learn football and if he done well for us he could go on to bigger things". Instead, he is being a bitter wee dunce and whining about him making bad decisions and slagging our club. The only thing that relates us and Charlton is the fact they play the same sport, they're tinpot in every other manner and no amount of TV money will ever change that.

Is this the Bowyer that was jacking his job then back tracked and signed a new deal!? Also, the one who was fighting with his team mate when at Newcastle!? Some role model that!!!!

Compare it a model pro in Gerrard who is renound worldwide and a huge sporting name.

%^*& off Bowyer you bitter wee bastard.

He's correct in that the SPFL is mince
True, but Celtic have managed to send a few players down there in the past few years - admittedly, mostly to Southampton - as well as selling Dembele to Ligue 1. For Bowyer to imply that you can't go on to a better league after playing in Scotland is bollocks. Celtic didn't even have any real competition in the top flight when they sold van Dijk.

If Charlton were getting the same development fee from us as the English clubs then Bowyer wouldn't have an issue.

He wants Aribo to stay in England for the money Charlton will receive.
Exactly, can't understand why folk are, typically, getting their knickers in a twist over what he is saying.

Who’s going to win the EFL?
Eh, City or Liverpool.

The rest scrambling about for the top 4 paying average players 50-100k a week.

The England under 21’s did well I see.

Bowyer has not said a great deal wrong here. He has said we are a massive Club and Gerrard is top boy.

He's guilty of showing a little ignorance that it's rare to go from here to the EPL. Joe will also learn a lot when we make the Europa league again and even more working with Gerrard and his team.

Bowyer is hurting cos they got the minimum cash for Aribo. Never mind.
He has said plenty wrong. The guy has absolutely no idea the demands playing for a club like Rangers, poor standard of league or not.

He is one disingenuous cu.nt. It's got fu.ck all to do with the lad's development. You just want more money for your club. Well no luck, it's done. Enjoy fighting relegation.

Aribo coming to Scotland gets Charlton about 300k. Aribo moving to an English club gets them something like 13 times that amount. Him saying ‘act well, good luck’ is not, in any manner of speaking, doing the best for his club.

If we look at what he says, we do tend to get English players towards the end of their careers and it is rare to go from us to the EPL. Rattling off a list of 10 players in 20 years does absolutely nothing to dispel that.

People here can be so thin skinned it is laughable. Wanting to cancel Derby friendliest because the record says they want Gerrard. Losing their shit over someone who wants to bet his club a decent fee. Bunch of wee sweetie wives at times.

Aribo goes to the English Premiership and be probably sees majority of action from the bench. That stifles his progression.

He stays at Charlton in the Chanpionship and he is at a club fighting relegation.

Moving to another Championship club could have been an option but the majority of them are shite.

Move to Rangers, play under enormous pressure, European experience, help win trophies, make a name for yourself, continue to develop, show you can handle the pressure and environment then move to the English Premiership.
I don't disagree with all that he said regarding some of the opposition up here.but I think your post sums it up well, and to add to that he will be getting coaching from two of the best midfielders to have played in the premiership in the past 20 years.
It will not do his career any harm at his age to have that experience under his belt.
