Our former captain was released by QPR at the end of last season; anyone know if he’s got a new club yet? Surely could do a job in the SPFL??

35 this year. He's probably lost his pace and engine, he'd be good on the left side of a back 3. Not sure who plays that system uk here, but he'd be a real asset for someone.

See when you've been slow all of your career it's a nightmare trying to maintain a level of performance. Full back is an unforgiving position without pace. Time for the coaching badges or acceptance of a level way below English Championship. Championship level in Scotland and the wage drop will highlight his fall from grace. A shame but being slow kills you. Best of luck to him wherever the path may take him. An ambassador for us in future.

Would like to see him back at the club in a coaching capacity at some level. He's already got coaching experience at Kelty and he's also a class act of a man.

Should come up the road and do a coaching job somewhere.

He's always had an interest in it, was it Edinburgh City or Kelty he was coaching at on the side while playing for us? Sure he helped out with some of our youth squads too.

I think he'd be better having a crack at it rather than another year playing somewhere.

Anyone signing him would be lucky to get 10 gamez out of him in the season
He is always injured

He managed 22 games last year and similar the year before. He’s not as bad as he is made out on here.

He started at Tynecastle and is know the assistant manager at Kelty u20’s.

Great guy and a very decent player in his pomp. One of the few who actually applied himself in division 3 and looked like an SPL level player playing on the third division.

Always hated the disrespect shown toward him from some posters who’d suggest he didn’t deserve any plaudits for staying here because it was only about money and he couldn’t get a good contract elsewhere (despite championship clubs being keen on him and him sacrificing his international career to stay with us too). So if he were ever to come back up here he’d be due a great reception.

Haven’t seen him play in years so no idea of his fitness or pace

If he has lost either he won’t survive the spfl which is low of quality but high on physical contact and work rate

Might have been said previously but he picked up an injury in League 1 or the 1st Championship season for us, cant quite remember? After returning was never quite the same, turned inside rather than busting down to the byline. Love the guy though as he basically gave up international football to stick with us when we needed it.

I remember hearing that at the time he sacrificed international football for rangers

He wasn't good enough for that

He stuck way us because he was on a crazy wage

Just not true. He easily could have played in the English Championship or lower EPL at that time for bigger wages.

Why would real bears try to shit on those who stuck with us through that shit show?

Kelty Hearts as he had done some coaching there but that cowardly thug Potter has just been appointed manager

Wasn't good enough! Did we sign him into the team we had when he arrived because he wasn't good enough? Imagine having to have an argument like this about Lee Wallace, on a Rangers forum; taking cynicism to a whole new level.

Considering he has played in the Championship for a top half team regularly for the past 2 seasons, when he was clearly past his best (from our side), I'm surprised some people still try to claim he only stuck with us because he had no other options,

Not to mention that he did get Scotland caps after that. Some leap of logic the guy has to find a way to criticise a guy who did what we all wanted people to do, stick around.
