Leicester covid trio attented party

This is a great post and it’s very telling to me that you have no “likes” for it
Presumably because you aren’t towing the extremists view that it’s all Nicola’s fault or the SFA’s fault
Of course the fault lies at the fuc.king idiot football players who put our 55 at risk.
We are Rangers we take responsibility
Prob because the OP was instead pointing out the difference in the way the FA have handled the situation, far more sensibly and consistently than the SFA have.

Not a lot of likes for this...

Off at a wee bit of a tangent here, but I watched a recording of last night's MOTD.
In the Man City v Leeds game a Leeds player was originally cautioned for his follow through on a City player, leading boot high, played the ball but carried through and caught the City player knee high. VAR asked the ref to look again and changed his decision to red card, another difference between England and Scotland, remember the Rangers v Dundee Utd game early in the season when Alfredo was carried off following a similar incident to the one I just described? At the time ref Clancy took no action but after the DU player was cited, 3 ex-referees couldn't agree that the DU player's follow through was reckless.

We don’t want VAR in Scotland.

It is but the governing bodies are seperate so therefore what the EPL or FA do is irrelevant to Scottish teams
We should no longer be and this weekend has highlighted that.

I don’t feel safe in Scotland feel as a rangers supporter or a unionists and royalist and I will be contacting MPs about that tomorrow

I don’t feel safe in Scotland as a Rangers fan and a Unionist and royalist

what’s hard to understand
Im finding it hard to understand what 3 Leicester players going to a party has to do with your feelings of safety.

Are you saying you feel unsafe because the SFA are banning our players? If that the case stay away from mirrors or shadows.

Scotland is the only country in the UK that needs the daily covid briefings to stay relevant. Shes a joke and sadly as a result so is Scotland

What annoyed me most about all this is the potential severity of the incidents being considered as equal - flying in a burd from America, Bolingoli coming back from Spain and the 30 odd traveling party (pun intended) from Dubai all have the risk of bringing back a mutated strain of the virus, causing untold damage to the country and immunisation program. Teammates mixing with their partners locally, while wrong, just isn't the same and any punishment should be handled accordingly

The day that people don’t have to discuss normal things like human beings socialising with others will be a great day.

Scunnert having to hear about what young lads do with their spare time.

In my opinion it's a police matter and nothing too do with the SFA!

Of course we all remember what happened to Duncan Ferguson because he wore a blue shirt!

If the police deemed the lads had broken the law they would have been fined?

That should of been the end it as the Rangers boys would also have been fined and told to quarantined by the club?........ And rightly so as it was a club disciplinary matter!.... Nothing more! ...... Note: They seemed to have realized that in England!

How many players over the years have been disciplined for drunk driving by the SFA?

Note: This was a new law that came out for the pandemic, so how come the SFA suddenly had in their wee green book of trumped up charges?

Maybe that's what it's all about with the SFA that they have over stepped their authority in legal terms which opens the swinging doors by all those that have been unjustly punished by the SFA.

Surely It can't be just for players too be punished three times for the same offense?

Will we see claims from players for loss of earnings ECT? .......I hope so!

Or, maybe, just maybe the SFA have had instructions from Wee Burnie?

The wee union Jack hater!

It seems to me the rules are very clear.

In England, if players leave their bubble, party, then have to isolate for x days.

In Scotland, Aberdeen players get a suspended sentence and their games postponed.

Celtic players in Dubai are ignored breaching protocol as it's outside the SFA's jurastiction, despite it being witnessed and documented.

Rangers' players get a multi game ban.

Is that the disparity?

FBS
Why is Dubai outwith the SFA's jurastiction and a house gathering in Glasgow in the SFA's jurastiction? Only one incident was footbal related and it wasn't ours, who gave the SFA the power to deal with offences not related to football. On another note , who was suspended when a linesman officiated when he should have been isolating, a far more serious breach.

Down south common sense prevails, club deals with it then everyone moves on. Only in Scotland are 7 game bans etc dreamt up. Also zero chat re stopping EPL, all that nonsense was because we were nearing a title win at the time.

It's crazy the difference between here and England. Its as if they have rules and structure in place and don't make it up as they go along
The issue up here is that the governing bodies are shit scared to face up to Sturgeon and tell her to keep fucking out of how football runs its business.
