Hopefully a positive start from the team to help get the crowd going. I'm more confident of that happening in European games.

We are supporters and shouldn’t need the team to get us going.
We will sing for the first few minutes and the place will be buzzing and then the UBs will start singing Englishman’s betrayal or Men behind the wire and the rest of the stadium will fall silent.

Or they'll sing any number of Rangers songs and the stadium will still fall silent.
 
Hope theres a good atmosphere but have my doubts its been so poor recently.
 
We really need to get behind the team they need us as much as we need them and with all the shit that's flying around at the moment they require our backing 100% all through the match and we will all be hoping for a good display from them,if we can forget all our gripes with the board and the sfa just for this match it will make us all feel better at least for a couple of days , with the words of one of our songs in mind "The Cry Was NO SURRENDER"to anyone or everyone

Could we sing the right words for a change?

The cry was no surrender
But come when duty calls
With heart and hand and sword and sheild
We'll guard old Derry's walls.

So much better and it makes more sense.
 
A couple of pints and Ibrox under the floodlights should get the blood pumping for the quiet mob.

Expecting it to be electric and the team to react.

Couldn't agree more, and it scans and rhymes correctly too. Can't imagine why those great original words were changed in the first place.
