Let's all do the Anton - This day in 1990

I think Forbidden Planet only closed down a year or so ago.
They moved to Sauchiehill Street opposite where Watts Bros was Bigger shop for them

The Buchanan Street one remained open for a few months and on certain days from memory until they got the other one finished

Had to feel for Anton about a month later in the Scottish cup final when his penalty was saved by Theo Snelders in the shootout which gave Aberdeen the cup.

Even when he was walking up to take it you knew it was going to be saved

He did get a wee bit of revenge a year later when he scored for them in a 3 nil win over us at the Piggery, coming a week after the Scottish cup exit.

I had my season ticket in the now the SJ stand in line with the 18 yard line at the Broomloan end so had to suffer the scum twice a season so after Ally had scored to break DJ's record and all the celebrations had died down , a certain Fr Thomas Burns was sitting in the Broomloan Front seats , so I stood up and shouted over 'Taxi for Burns!' he could not react for obvious reasons but his sycophants did cue the fingers and' orange bastard' reply, good times.
