INFO MAIL PICARD . Eddy Gnahoré and Moussa Konaté, also still under contract, are tracked by French and foreign clubs. Especially Moussa Konaté, which has been the subject of interesting offers from English clubs (Premier League and Championship), but he preferred to stay. For now, he has found the team but Glasgow Rangers Scottish club is interested in him. Answer in the coming days.

Defoe has also tended to start the ‘lesser’ matches while Alfie has started the big ones. Could be comment on Alfie being first choice and Defoe allowing him a rest. Or could just be that Defoe is felt to work better with his use of space in packed defences while Alfie operates better in more open spaces and battering the better defenders to create space for others.

Either way, St Mirren feels a Defoe type game from what we’ve done this year already.
