From having no league to play in when the bastards of the Celtic lobby had the audacity to change not only the name and articles of association, effectively folding the holding company, of the SPL and creating the SPFL locking us out of football. To having to go cap in hand to the SFA to let us in to their set up, with concessions, its taken only 9 years to return to the European stage competition wise.
Make no mistake about it the team earned the right to be in that final last night we were there on merit. Sadly we fell short on the night. And as disappointing as it is to fail to win the competition we are only just beginning!
I predict that within the next 10 years we will win one of these competitions. Hopefully I live long enough to see it, sadly some of us wont, in the mean time...
And so how far have we now come,
How far have we to go,
And those we thought who were our friends,
Now stand beside our foe,
But take you heed,
The price is high,
And you will have to pay,
So listen now and heed my words for we are on our way.
We are the people!
