It works well. their best player (arguably) Christie was loaned out as well so its not like they are being written off either.

If we sent a player out on loan and he got a booking or a ban for that club he is loaned to, would it carry back to us if he returned??

I have said we should have done this for years .
Celtic did it over the years with Christie who played against everyone except them .
We have learned the hard way but it’s now working in our favour .

The only reason Murphy and McCrorie are loaned to SPFL sides is because they couldn't afford to buy them.

We won't be loaning developing players to teams in the top league up here. Better in the championship

No particularly when Jamie Murphys sat with an earpiece feeding our shape changes to their staff.

But we have a leveller today.

It makes sense, especially for players who are a bit below the standard we need at the time, but are better than Scottish Championship level.

Those fks have been reaping the rewards of this behaviour for the last decade and we need to be doing the same. These are the small margins that need to be exploited.

We might get a fee for Jones from a championship club in England but the likes of Edmundson,Middleton,Barjonas and Stewart could all strengthen other clubs in our league without adversely affecting us.

Season 17/18 the scum loaned out:

Christie to Aberdeen
Allan to Hibs
Cifti to Motherwell
Mckay-Steven to Aberdeen
Morgan to St Mirren

It was great to see one of our loan deals hurt them today. Hopefully we can do the same come January with some fringe players who need game time

It should always be primarily to aid the player's development/sell on value, if it's to another team in the league that's a bonus.

Kelly seems to get getting regular games now which is great to see, Kennedy too but only useful if he signs a new contract.

It's been mentioned on here several times over the last few years. The scum do it often knowing that they can place certain players into teams that benefit them in the long run. Today we have finally had some fortune in that department ourselves.

Yes, Jones and Edmundson next
Good shout.

Ive been shot down today for saying we should do it again with Lewis Ferguson.

It’s a common tactic used by a lot of big clubs to secure dominance over the rest of the league.

Christie apart, what an inglorious list of signings.

They really have spent a fortune on some amount of dross in recent years.

On the OP, the loaning of mccrorie and Murphy this season was an excellent move on Rangers part

We didn't have the players in the first team to beat them until recently nevermind our cast offs.

Greg Stewart could make the difference at Kilmarnock in what is a tough game anyway.

Hands down absolutely.

In the past we haven't been able to spare the quality, so whilst a shame we can't use Jamie Murphy to our own ends - brilliant that he can hurt them like he did tonight

Chelsea were the first to exploit this imo when they were head and shoulders above everyone else financially.

They bought a huge, talented squad of players because they could - and loaned many of those out to a host of other clubs.

Those players then played against their rivals but were ineligible against the parent club. Quite clever really.

If we can strengthen other sides for when they play the paedo club then I’m all for it.
