Are the old FF emojis back?

All this pish with Benitez - not one paper or media source reported any talks happening whatsoever, because nothing ever did happen.

It’s embarrassing that grown men actually believed any part of it. A story based purely on bookies odds fluctuating, which is perfectly normal when you have diddies believing a couple of circulating text messages and throwing scores on it willy-nilly.

Still cant believe how dumb this is

Rangers manager quoted 6 months ago that he speaks weekly to Rafael Benitez mentoring him in management.

And not one single mentally challenged put 2+2 together to come up with

Tango. Made in Valencia Orange flavour.

They even had Keith Downie jangling it on tv. Will he. Wont he.

That’s Keith Downie of RTV and whom sky sent with Rangers to Tenerife in January

Remember all the pish printed when we were looking for a DOF.
Shite how it wasn’t required etc, next thing you know it’s rumoured they are appointing one.
Yet again we lead and those dicks follow.
Difference is Mark Allen is a proper DOF.
They are talking about sticking the bravest man in football in the position just to keep him in a job with no qualifications to do it.
I love it and McGhee as assistant would just be the icing on the cake

Set us back years?
It hasn't even been years since he was sacked.
Less than 12 months from him being sacked, we were halfway through a Europa League group.
I get he was a shite manager, but is there any need for the drama queen stuff?

We backed the clown to the tune of millions and his star signings were an alcoholic and his pal. Squandered a fortune at a time when we could little afford it. If we had got the right manager when we appointed him we would have had a significantly better chance of having won some silverware by now. That’s without getting into losing to a team from Luxembourg in Europe and leaving a totally demoralised squad which routinely took spankings from that mob. So yes, I’m quite comfortable saying Pedro set us back years. If that’s being a drama queen then sign me up.

So we have interviews of Lennon saying he will be leading the team, that him and lawell have been planning for next year and lawell saying that lennon was getting the job whether they won the cup or not AND YET we still have some on here saying he won’t take it or it’s an operation tango.

Is anyone else dumbfounded at the amount of posters querying if he will get the job!?
The dread some people seem to have that everything is an operation tango is weird.

%^*& Lennon. Next season should be about us and getting things right. Does it matter what he does if we're dropping daft points to lower six teams and can't regularly beat the sheep or Kilmarnock? We should be treating it like they've signed a top notch manager and setting our standards to match that threat.
I’m sure Gerrard will do exactly that.

You're happy to say he set us back years, in spite of the very clear evidence that the mess of his reign was cleared up in under a year?

If he 'set us back years' as you say, we'd still be worse off than when he left.
It's not even being a drama queen, it's just absolute stupidity.
It is absolutely impossible that he set us back years as years haven't even passed.

Thing is they must’ve signed Lennon regardless.

No way was Moyes waiting on the result of a cup final,

It’s up to us now. This is our best chance.

If we’d been able to put our current management team in place when we appointed him I think there’s a better than fair chance we would just have won the league. We are also still paying for his duds and will continue to do so for some time (this has also had a knock on effect on what Gerrard and his team have had available to spend, as did his european debacle and having to pay him and his team off). Pedro very obviously hamstrung our progress on the pitch and financially by his mismanagement. Fair enough if you can’t see it. I don’t like to insult fellow bears, but you call me stupid? Wow.

The reason for it not being announced is due to the structure there.

Ie, the DOF route being/not being adopted and his backroom staff. Rumoured to include Commons and McGhee

It was obvious he was going to be manager after they announced lennon would be picking what players are staying and what players are leaving in the summer why would an intern manager be allowed to get rid of players a potential new manager would keep

Well yes, because you are coming across as such.
Firstly, you say if we had the management team in place sooner.
We all know for a fact that wasn't happening as Gerrard wasn't prepared to leave Liverpool before his contract expired so that rips up your fantasy league winning scenario right away.
I take it in posting that, you are completely ignoring the whole Mcinnes debacle?
If we'd got the management team in place straight after Caixinha then it was Wee Deek and his mentally challenged pal, Steven Gerrard wouldn't even have been mentioned.
You reckon we might have won the league?
How could we have done that with Pedro's duds still getting paid?
I am of course referring to players like Morelos, Candeias and Jack who are conveniently ignored when we're ripping the guy who signed them.

Again, you stick by the claim that he's set us back years and insist we're hamstrung financially.
This in spite of us hiring an entirely new management team with specialist coaches, signing players like McGregor, Arfield, Davis and Defoe on big wages and spending millions on Katic, Goldson, Barisic and Grezda.

Pedro's net spend was £6m, in Morelos we have one player he signed who we'll sell for double that at least.
That alone destroys the idea of us being financially weakened. If that was the case we'd have sold him when the Chinese club showed an interest.

It seems to me that your biggest hang up, and entire basis of your argument is that he signed Pena and Herrera who turned out to be duds.
It's being very selective at best when you consciously ignore his good signings.
Our history is littered with guys like those two, Rozental, Guivarc'h, Kanchelskis, Prodan. Players who cost us a fortune for not much in return.
If we apply your logic, every Rangers manager in my lifetime has 'set us back years'.
