It's not. Must be confused with Mahou, a lager brewed in Madrid - which is excellent. Are you sure about that?
Why would a ‘Spanish style’ beer that’s brewed (exclusively?) in the UK be on sale in Spain?
Would they not just sell actual Spanish beer?
Where in Spain? They wouldn't drink it in Madrid. It's like selling a beer here called Glasgi and the rest of the country hates madrid. Where is it sold? Spars in the Costa Del Sol?Well that puts an abrupt end to everyone saying it's not sold in Spain
I had a few pints of Madri on friday night in Platform 5. Very nice indeed. Up there with Heverlee which is my current favourite lager.
People can call me a beer snob all they want but I really dislike ‘cooking lagers’ such as Tennants and Carling. Vile tasteless alcoholic bubbly water imo.
It was definitely on sale at Madrid airport as we had a few on a stopover.Where in Spain? They wouldn't drink it in Madrid. It's like selling a beer here called Glasgi and the rest of the country hates madrid. Where is it sold? Spars in the Costa Del Sol?
