If I’m correct his debut was a 3-2 victory over Dumbarton. Interesting that he appeared in the 4-1 victory over us at Ibrox in 1972. (Ally McLeod scored all four goals).

Very sad reading.

I remember that morning when I was getting ready for school and the news came on the radio that Bobby had died, still makes me sad to think he died so young.

I sent a request to Edgar from HnH a few months back that they do a pod about Bobby. I don't know much about him other than basic info. Utterly tragic what happened to him. And I'm surprised his story hasn't been told more often. Got a line back from Hoggy saying they'll put it on the list. They probably get loads of requests but hopefully they do a show about Bobby. His story deserves to be told.

'Personal ambition' :(

Tragic,he was an outstanding player for us,unplayable at times.

I remember the cup final vs scum after he passed was the loudest minutes silence iv ever witnessed.Great wee player he was.
