I think Buff (for the formation we play) he’s just perfect for us.
Itten looks rusty but hopefully will come good.
Roofe is a different type of player and has scored good goals but I feel early signals tell me Buff is well ahead of them to suit our system.
I was in the “Let him go” camp but he’s sucked me back in with they two goals and now I’m really hoping he stays.
If he goes do we expect to bring in another striker or would it be the 3 with Itten, Defoe and Roofe?
I think we would need another 1 but a good pedigree about him.
Thoughts ?

My thoughts exactly. I’d love to keep him as part of the attacking options. We become harder to predict if we have more than one option up front.

If you include Bassey as cover for Borna then we really have genuine competition and options in every position.

Probably exactly what Alfie needed as he was perhaps coasting or complacent.

2 from Alfie, Roofe, Itten and Defoe are going to miss out most weeks.

Probably on Tav, Kent and Goldson are currently guaranteed starters.

I genuinely think our squad is now better than theirs, especially if Nytcham is sulking and Edouard wants to leave.
