Jamie Carragher explains how a communication mix-up affected the Newcastle team's shape in the match against Wolves.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce was involved in a training ground dispute with Matt Ritchie this week, Sky Sports News has confirmed.
Ritchie has apologised after a report in the Daily Mail claimed he called his manager "a coward".
Sky Sports News has been told Ritchie was unhappy that Bruce appeared to blame him for Wolves' equaliser on Saturday, by not getting tactical instructions on to his team-mates quickly enough when he came on as a second-half substitute.
Bruce told Sky Sports on Saturday: "Unfortunately Matty didn't get the directions on quick enough, the instructions of how we were doing it [making the change]. We'll have to concede that one and make sure we do our instructions from the sideline."

Newcastle are only three points above the Premier League drop zone and travel to West Brom on Sunday.

I was listening to the journalist on talk sport just there and he claims Newcastle have called him a shit stirrer, despite him saying they told him it was all correct.

Heard that too, seems like they've got someone doing a fair bit of leaking at Newcastle

Geordie fans are cracking up with Bruce, all the same old boys act come out and defend him in the media. The fans want him gone that's for sure

The stupid and deluded Geordies might one day click its not the managers they keep going through that are the problem.....
I'd say the majority do know that but they also look at West Ham with basket case robbing owners similar transfer expenditure competing for the CL, likes of Southampton with a progressive manager and far more pleasing on the eye in a far safer position than Newcastle and that's with 9 nil hammerings and losing 5 in the bounce they're still in a far better position. Problem is they need EVERYTHING to change

They're well aware of the problem, Bruce is just another puppet the FCB has dangling on a string, until someone buys the club off him then they're stuck with the parasite.

Ritchie is a wank.

Bruce deserves all he gets, Marinez refused to pay any more than £20m for Joelinton, saying it was all he was worth, Bruce came in and shelled out £40m for him, he's scored 7 in 69 games.

Nothing against the club or their fans, however my hate for their owner is unrelenting.
As for the manager, again, nothing against him, but publically criticising players rarely ends well.
If a player fails to carry out a manager's orders, yes make him aware of his shortcomings but behind closed doors or at the training ground.
