Playing Kante and Hazard out of position, playing that useless Jorginho, not being able to change the system or change it during a game.

Way out of his depth here.

If you dont put a Kante in the right position then when you shoot it doesn't go in the goal.

Me too, Chelsea have world class players but this result hasn't shocked me by any means. They should not be getting gubbed by any team
Do they ? I think they've got two at a push. Hazard and Kante.

The rest ? Nowhere near elite or top tier. Some very good players, some good players and some bog standard EPL players.

Regardless of the manager and his failings, the Chelsea players are a disgrace. They don't seem to have any professional pride in themselves. They should not be getting thrashed by anyone at anytime. About time they took their fingers out of their highly paid arses and got back to work. Everything that is wrong with the EPL. Sickening how players who can just down tools so easily nowadays and have zero consequences. The Chelsea fans must be wondering what's going on cos this happens so often with their team.

They have that Odoi that’s worth 40 million apparently to Bayern - and he can’t even get in the team.

That would suggest a world class team at least.

I know it doesn’t quite work like that but you know what I mean. Shouldn’t be getting these drubbings with that squad anyway.

I give you the Man Utd first team and in particular - Paul Pogba - prime examples of this now common trait.

Chelsea need to get shot of him and start again. There’s too much dead wood in that squad.

If it was 2 years from now I wonder if Lampard would be in with a shout.

Right now, perhaps Eddie Howe or Nuno Espírito Santo. There isn’t a great deal of choice for them.

Is it just me that thinks he's a fcuking crackpot?

From financing to managing one of the wealthiest clubs in the World.

Managing 19 teams since 1990 en route to London.

Absolute anomaly.
Can’t believe where he plays Kante , mental.

Said it back when he was appointed, a ridiculous managerial appointment.

Take out Napoli and his career is awful.

Haven't a clue who Chelsea turn to now, they've been through some amount of managers and the playing squad are a bunch of shitebags who surrender at the slightest sign of trouble.

I had to google what they paid for that empty number 5 shirt Jorginho - £50million plus up to £7million in add-ons. Think they’re safe from paying the extra! They’ll have a fair shopping list for the summer.

Does Abramovich still pump money into Chelsea?

I remember when he took over he was in the headlines quite a lot and seemed to be quite visible at their games etc...you barely hear anything about him now?

BTW Jorginho is actually a really good player, he's just being hung out to dry IMO.

I think there was some sort of issue between Abramovich and the UK Govt and he’s now never here at all. He spends time between Russia and Israel. I cannot see him retaining much interest, but if he pulls out for good they would be royally fkd im sure.

Why would they be fucked? Would he not just sell to another Billionaire who would continue pumping money into the club?

They changed the remittance basis rules for non doms. Long term UK resident non doms now need to pay UK tax on their worldwide income. He has to remain non resident (spend less than 91 days in the UK) or he’ll be hit with an enormous tax bill.

Although HMRC would have almost no chance of ever finding out Abramovich’s true wealth.

Could you not say the same about City?

He’s not got a visa I thought? There is some ongoing issue with his visa.

“Superstars” like Hazard need to have a long look at themselves
How many managers will they get the sack before they take the blame?

Hazards played most of the season as a false nine, Kante has played most of the season as an attacking midfielder. Both of them were the best players in their natural position last season then this loonball comes in and tries to play them somewhere else.

Absolutely bizarre appointment.

Different levels, but as about as bizarre as us appointing Caixinha.

Hazard has imo never been the player people make him out to be, Bale, Aguero, Ronaldo, Kane all win games on their own regularly in EPL and other leagues, I don’t recall hazard ever being that standard. The Chelsea squad have cost managers jobs time and again.

They’ve wasted some amount of money on players that aren’t good enough, Sarri appears out his depth! Who do they go for next?

He is clueless wrong formation, players out of position and freezing out Cahill who while not best individual was good team player.
Needs to get sacked now

Chelsea need a manager who plays defensive football.

Whenever they get ideas about bringing in a manager to play open expansive football (Scolari, AVB, Sarri, I'm sure I've missed a few) it goes horribly wrong.

At least when they bring in a manager who specialises in defensive organisation and counter attacking football (Mourinho, Conte) they normally win a League or two before the players chuck it.
