Chelsea need to get shot of him and start again. There’s too much dead wood in that squad.

If it was 2 years from now I wonder if Lampard would be in with a shout.

Right now, perhaps Eddie Howe or Nuno Espírito Santo. There isn’t a great deal of choice for them.

Said it back when he was appointed, a ridiculous managerial appointment.

Take out Napoli and his career is awful.

Haven't a clue who Chelsea turn to now, they've been through some amount of managers and the playing squad are a bunch of shitebags who surrender at the slightest sign of trouble.

I had to google what they paid for that empty number 5 shirt Jorginho - £50million plus up to £7million in add-ons. Think they’re safe from paying the extra! They’ll have a fair shopping list for the summer.

Does Abramovich still pump money into Chelsea?

I remember when he took over he was in the headlines quite a lot and seemed to be quite visible at their games etc...you barely hear anything about him now?

BTW Jorginho is actually a really good player, he's just being hung out to dry IMO.

I think there was some sort of issue between Abramovich and the UK Govt and he’s now never here at all. He spends time between Russia and Israel. I cannot see him retaining much interest, but if he pulls out for good they would be royally fkd im sure.

Why would they be fucked? Would he not just sell to another Billionaire who would continue pumping money into the club?

They changed the remittance basis rules for non doms. Long term UK resident non doms now need to pay UK tax on their worldwide income. He has to remain non resident (spend less than 91 days in the UK) or he’ll be hit with an enormous tax bill.

Although HMRC would have almost no chance of ever finding out Abramovich’s true wealth.

He’s not got a visa I thought? There is some ongoing issue with his visa.

“Superstars” like Hazard need to have a long look at themselves
How many managers will they get the sack before they take the blame?

Hazards played most of the season as a false nine, Kante has played most of the season as an attacking midfielder. Both of them were the best players in their natural position last season then this loonball comes in and tries to play them somewhere else.

Hazard has imo never been the player people make him out to be, Bale, Aguero, Ronaldo, Kane all win games on their own regularly in EPL and other leagues, I don’t recall hazard ever being that standard. The Chelsea squad have cost managers jobs time and again.

He is clueless wrong formation, players out of position and freezing out Cahill who while not best individual was good team player.
Needs to get sacked now

Chelsea need a manager who plays defensive football.

Whenever they get ideas about bringing in a manager to play open expansive football (Scolari, AVB, Sarri, I'm sure I've missed a few) it goes horribly wrong.

At least when they bring in a manager who specialises in defensive organisation and counter attacking football (Mourinho, Conte) they normally win a League or two before the players chuck it.

He actually has a better win % than Gerrard, but then we’ve not been absolutely thumped by two teams in the space of a fortnight

Don't think he's clueless, just a bit stubborn. That Chelsea squad will turn on a manager in a second and they've done it again. A smart club would have seen this already and had a full on rebuild of the squad

Who would o be the Chelsea manager? One wrong word against a player they down tools. I dont care how useless a manager is no Chelsea team should be getting humped 4 0 to Bournemouth and 6 0 to Chelsea with the players they have in their squad

A lot of his success at Napoli was down to rafa he had already built a good side for Sarri to walk into he basically solidified an already good team I said at the time of his appointment at Chelsea he wasn't suited to managing in the epl what he can't compensate for is players completely downing tool that's the third manager in a row those players have down that to which is an absolute disgrace

Jim Ratcliffe who is Britain's richest man offered to buy Chelsea not that long ago.

Comparing his appointment to Caixinha...deary me!

Pretty sure Sarri won manager of the year in Serie A. He might've inherited a good Rafa Benitez team but he also had to make changes when they lost Higuain.
