McGregor appeal put back to Wednesday

Big decision this one for Lawwell's lackeys.

Last week confirmed to the world that Rangers and Celtic are judged on different criteria - do they have the nerve to ban another Rangers player for an inconclusive incident?

Nobody knows, that is the issue. Our own manager didn't know when asked.
Just checked. First they confirm the match ref didn’t see the incident. It’s then reviewed by 3 ex refs and all 3 need to agree an error was made for CO to offer a ban. Can’t see why she’s involved in the appeal.

Shagger won't get banned. Citing him was a political decision. It made it easier to ban Alfie.

Cite 2 ban one. Gives the illusion of balance and fairness.
Hopefully McGregor will be able to use the Brenda defense-

"But I think defenders will tell you when you jump in with a young striker, you have got to be strong and committed in the challenge. I think it was that."
Brendan Rodgers 9/2/2019

Jozo Simunovuc tackle v Hibs Oli Shaw.

They managed to hear Alfie’s appeal, and many other Rangers ones, at the drop of a hat. This is pathetic from the SFA.

So the busy Tuesday after weekend matches, when citing is normally announced (if any) she is not available, really!
Are we expected to believe this.

Couldn't wait to get Morelos hung drawn and quartered. It's almost as if losing McGregor isn't as great a threat as losing Morelos is to our chances of success. Shower of incompetent and corrupt bassas, it feels from then. The worse is they don't even hide it anymore

Come on gents WTF difference does it make were not playing till the weekend.

How can any other CO business be conducted today if she’s not there.
Other offences from weekend merit her attention, therefore they will be out with normal timescale.
Or are the times being put back also.

Seems to have managed to review other incident and able to decide on that according to this ?

"
SFA compliance officer Clare Whyte will review the footage on Wednesday and decide whether the ban should be upheld.

If it is, it means that McGregor will miss Rangers' Premiership clash with St Johnstone and the Scottish Cup replay against Kilmarnock.

Meanwhile, Alan Power fill find out his fate today after the compliance officer poured over footage from his high tackle on Ryan Jack.

In a game of few incidents, the Irishman’s high, dangerous challenge on Jack in the first-half earned him a yellow card from ref Alan Muir.

It was the big talking point for the game and Power will find out before 3:00pm today if the incident warrants further punishment, according to the Scottish Sun. "

So three refs have decided the match ref made an error, surely that means a ban is a given?

Shambles as per usual from the SFA

They make things up as they go along and we all know it’s a joke as as Midden seen the tackle and didn’t award a foul as Greegs gathers ball and his momentum takes him into Ferguson

If we don’t use the footage of Brown and Candeias and ask what’s different then we are naive

Mhedia up here setting the agenda. F.ucking sick of this country and the way football and how the Scot Govt run the country

What qualifies this woman to make decisions about footballing incidents? She’s not a qualified referee. She’s probably got no more understanding of the rules than any normal fan. Surely she doesn’t decide what is or what’s not foul play.

Does this mean the killie player who booted jack in the face won't be cited?

It’s still being reported in articles about the McGregor delay that the CO will be looking at the Power ‘tackle’ before 3pm today, so I can only assume that the hold up on the McGregor one isn’t due to the CO.

I guess this is a rhetorical question but is it not that the CO does the initial look/ban offer (which for McGregor was presumably done last Friday) and then the appeal panel judge any appeal (which was meant to be today)?

Maybe one of the folk on the panel has become unavailable or something.

The whole process is a shambles and really needs to be publicly clarified in simple terms.

If they don’t cite Power then it makes an even further mockery of the whole system

Will Power be suspended for the replay then if he's been found guilty or will they just make it the next game against the scum?

If it's only a one game ban against the paedos we need to go tonto demanding a full clear out of the maggots in charge of the Scottish 19th Century Terrorist Association.

I thought if the referee saw the incident and took no action that was it. The camera behind the goal shows the referee saw what happened 100%.
