We probably wouldn't have remained unbeaten without McGregor and he did earn us a few points but to suggest we won the league because they have a shit goalkeeper is farcical and even the Celtic support knows it.
Don't click don't buy don't read lolQuotes from a Gordon Parks article in the DR about Barkas, and following on from John Collins' comments
"Missing in action in the big moments, when asked to bail out his side, he’s nowhere and that’s the truth of it.
Allan McGregor is the point in case, a keeper who makes the big saves when it matters and the main reason Rangers won the title last season, end of story."
Vasilis Barkas needs Celtic reboot admits fellow keeper
A £4.5million move from AEK Athens is turning into a nightmare for a keeper who appears incapable of making the big saves.www.dailyrecord.co.uk
Clearly trying to diminish how good we were all over the pitch
Until their parting word the press up here will try and belittle 55.Quotes from a Gordon Parks article in the DR about Barkas, and following on from John Collins' comments

My thinking exactly.Great to read that.
The more that believe this pish the better.
Surely a man who is paid to write for a living would know its case in point.Quotes from a Gordon Parks article in the DR about Barkas, and following on from John Collins' comments

And when McLaughlin had the gloves early on were there not numerous games where he faced 1 or less shot on target?Let them think that. Half the games we played last season he didn't even have a save to make. If that's their attitude going into this season we'll canter the league again.
And that's one of the problems Celtic have - they don't have a keeper close to Jon's ability, never mind McGregor's.McGregor was crucial for us getting the undefeated season but we’re still walking the title with McLaughlin in goal.
Some stand out saves, though plenty of games he didn’t have much to do.

You'd think so. He's as retarded as the rest of his press pals.Surely a man who is paid to write for a living would know its case in point.
Yes, he should know it's case in point.Surely a man who is paid to write for a living would know its case in point.
Still in the denial stage of grief.Quotes from a Gordon Parks article in the DR about Barkas, and following on from John Collins' comments

You mean Laxalt isn’t as good as Barisic? They had Duffy, we had Goldson. And so on.
Well playedYes, he should know it's case in point.
we'd have won the league with Barkas in goals. We would have won the league even if McLaughlin had been in goal all season. In fact he did play in 11 of our league games in which he lost a total of 3 goals.
Somebody else mentioned another factor that's greatly significant. Shots against. In those 11 league games McLaughlin faced a total of 17 shots. Around 1.5 a game.
That's a remarkably low number and that's down to the high quality of the defence in front of both McLaughlin and McGregor. If we had McGregor but their defence and they had our defence we wouldn't have won the league.
Amazingly truewe'd have won the league with Barkas in goals.
Correct, he was only 1 of 22 other main reasons we won the league.Quotes from a Gordon Parks article in the DR about Barkas, and following on from John Collins' comments

The first OF game, they didn't have a shot on targetLet them believe what they like.
There were games last season where we restricted our opponents to 1 shot all game because of the press and shape we used.
We set a new defensive records and were unbeaten in the league.
The more the delude themselves, the better.
McGreor's save against the Greek tragedy won us a title.Last year we were miles ahead of them. I could probably played in goals for us
McGregor though is the type of keeper that wins you it in a close race. He's worth a bunch of points on his own.
They don't have that in their team.
