Beale’s team needs to be spot on. He needs someone Scottish who is no nonsense when it comes to attitude and standards. Beale still refers to himself as a head coach at QPR and he’ll do all the work in the training park but we need someone who will get torn into those players daily because I know just how far they’ve fallen up at the Training ground. Gerrard was that man previously with Beale so with the roles reversed Beale needs someone strong with him.

Just look at what our team turned to with people like Makaay, Vos and Bowley. Soft as shite.

When will these people stop repeating what their 19th Century Terrorist pals have told them.

Souness managed Rangers for 5 years, Gerrard 3. If Gerrard had taken us over 2 years previous, he would have inherited a championship team that got promoted at the second time of asking. Instead he inherited the THIRD best team in the country in a two horse race. After 2 years in the SPFL and 4 managers we were scraping getting third place on the final day of the season.

We nearly finished 4th to Hibs on the final game of the season when we were 3-0 down after 22 minutes. It looked inevitable. But the game finished 5-5 and we secured third place on the last game of the season. We conceded more goals than the top 7 teams in the SPFL that season. Just think about that for a second. That’s what Gerrard inherited.

Year 1 of Gerrard we rightly had no chance of winning the league. He spent £10m. If you gave Hibs £10m to spend now, would they win the league? No, they wouldn’t.

Year 2 we improved on all fronts and season was cut due to Covid. Year 3 we won league in one of best seasons in our history. Year 4 they left with us 4 points clear at the top.

If you are rambling nonsense about winning trophies we had no right and no chance of winning and using that as a stick to beat a coach with then you need to reevaluate the situation and have a word with yourself.

Unfortunately I don't think that's the case with us. Every injury we have are all out for months. That's why I think we're going after Beale as we need immediate results and don't have time for a bedding in process with someone totally new as we've so many players out too.

Always wondered why football clubs think it’s 1970 and can’t announce things over weekends. Seems really outdated that it seems if it’s not done by 5pm on a Friday it needs to wait till Monday .

I wouldn’t put money on it tbh.
However long pre his Hamilton days I believe he coached a boys club in the North of Glasgow as did Willie McKay football agent and in his playing days junior for Petershill.
Both of them not Rangers men.
However I could be completely wrong and it might be a different person .

I've been convinced for several months he is taking the piss out of us now.

Wasn't there rumours of disagreements with the Rangers medical staff over one of his injuries and he went elsewhere to a specialist and demanded the Club foot the bill ?

Also talk is he spends a lot of his time down in the Midlands where he is family are based.

I think GVB hinted it was in his head at one point rather than physical injury. Bit strange
