I'm sure I read an article that it was only £2.5m up front, before he was loaned to USG as didn't meet Visa requirements yet. Another one "scouted" and flagged for us by Patrick Caskie by the way.

Unfortunately we don't have the money to really buy as many players around the £4-5m but the scouting team there do some job

That's clear given how the Raskin and Whitaker transfers are being dragged out over a couple of hundred grand.We need more Bassey and Patterson type transfers tough as it is to lose that caliber of player but the money generated should help fund able replacements.
