It gets to the stage in here, that you are quoting yourself thinking you are going nuts.My life stops an hour before Rangers play until an hour after it. Has done for 30 odd years.
Unless it's a euro away game then its 3 or 4 days written off.
Hours daily, looking for the latest news.
Time spent on other football is almost zero.
But It's getting to the stage I hope the lad goes for his benefit.
Our fans. Other fans. Officials. All after him.
Personally, I'd love him to stay and help us to 55.
But he deserves a lot better I feel.
Was it not a case of he had to wait for special permission to get back from Colombia. Came back an authorised few days later than most (but not all of) the swuad. And had to do the conditioning work he had missed during those few days? Was he not put doing specialist conditioning sessions with the coaches after arriving back from Colombia?
Who would you have played on Thursday night if not Morelos?

Is that you?
Stewart as a striker.
We could have had Kent or Barker up front too, Arfield or Hagi could have started in midfield.
Funny how we're starting with Morelos again today. Gerrard really isn't seeing this lazy fat guy is he?
As for the conditioning after being in Colombia, I can't say for sure. I'll bow to your knowledge and accept that was the case.
Though again it begs the question, what the hell are they doing if he's out of shape, overweight, not trying but still starting?
Who said he wasn't overweight ? Read the post correctlyAnyone denying that Morelos is overweight for a professional athlete seriously needs to get a grip, he is overweight and trying to argue otherwise is foolish. More importantly he is now disinterested and he wants to move. It’s time.
think this was a dig at gerrard, as in gerrard believes he is the best
The general consensus was that he played on thursday because there was simply no choice. The word "fat" to describe a professional footballer is all relative. Of course he isn't fat in the typical sense, but it's fairly evident he's carrying an extra few pounds and is some way off the physical condition he was circa November 2019. I think people are forgetting just how much of a beast Morelos is when he's firing.
It's fairly common for managers to play players into fitness, so I'm not following the idea that his playing automatically means Gerrard sees no issue with his condition.
I am surprised he starts today tho!
Trust the manager with it completely. He is the best striker at the club, so he starts.
Dont see the issue.

I think today's team selection puts paid to that idea.
In spite of saying himself that Alfie's head has been turned, Gerrard still has no issue with playing him today.
While managers may play guys to get them match fit, we're being asked to believe that Gerrard persists with Morelos despite him being overweight, out of shape and not even trying.
Given that he's previously been dropped for being late, I can't accept that he continues to start when he is apparently such a liability.
Apologies if it comes across as such, I only joined the thread in response to reading that he's carrying at least a stone, possibly two, more than he should be!You're conflating those of us who think he could get be in better condition with others who are stating he is fat and not trying.
I think he had a decent first half. Sharper and more involved. That comes with games.

Or you can listen to mentally challengedS AND Scottish journalists (is there a difference?) and believe he was 40 stone. Spitting on everyone. Telling everyone to %^*& off and storming about shouting I'm bigger than this fucking shite club. RAAAAA!
And was therefore kept away from everyone else until he got down to the size of a 38 year old Mark Yardley.
Before the blinkered Gerrard said "come here you" and carried on his unjustified Morelos love in.
only my opinion but he’s about 4-5 kilos overweight, As for specifics I wouldn’t know.

A very old username, avatar is me after losing 50 Kilos.
Even better!
Alfie needs help apparently
He scored twice have a day affDespite his goals today you can see he is looking a little sluggish.
I can't remember if it was last season or Gerrard's first season. There was an article or interview in which Morelos wentbon a fitness regime and lost a few kg. Came into the team and was electric.
He's nowhere near as much of a nuisance to defenders as he was.
