A couple of seasons back when he was getting loads of stick on here I said we would miss him when he was gone. I stick by that. Personally, I would like him to be at Ibrox for many a year yet. Still a lot of goals and misses in Alfie but he'll keep on getting them for a few seasons yet if given a chance.

Hes the only player in the team outside Goldson that actually hits a long pass with pace. Sometimes he misses, but its essential, because my biggest criticism of the middle of the pitch for me, is no one that has a "range" of pass. Everything is 10-15 yards tops.

But he is not a regular goal threat in any way, shape or form.

Frustrating is the right word mate.

He is around 1 in every 2.5 appearances over this season and last season. Haven't bothered to go and check how many minutes he played, I don't suspect his goals to minute ratio is much different from the earlier seasons.

Agreed. For someone allegedly so strong, many of his shots are rarely struck with genuine power, or cleanly. Powder puff alot of the time.

First half he was hopeless let’s not kid ourselves

In the opening 20-25 he had misplaced at least 3 passes of the very few he had, straight to their players

Missed a couple of great chances and a couple of times I seen Hagi and Aribo (looking frustrated) gesturing to him to press

Second half he was far better and his passing and touch was good plus he got a goal thankfully.

We need to get him fitter but he can be absolutely unstoppable on his day.

Thought he worked really well with Sakala as well.
