Most eccentric managers in Scottish football?

Was Ivano Bonetti considered eccentric at Dundee? I'm not sure if it was him or the directors behind the scenes but there were some bizzare goings on at Dundee in the early 00s.

Always remember the Lambie story when a thistle player took a head knock.

Physio shouts over it’s a bad one, he disnae know who he is.

To which Lambie responds, sponge him down and tell him he’s Pele. :D

Mad mental Kenny Dalglish has got to be up there on the list his interviews in the mhanky bars can't be the stuff of a sane mind

Only one Scottish manager has pulled his joggies doon and invited his players to boot the ball at his bare bahooky……...

sorry that quote wasn’t Lambie it was years before his era it was a famous Bill Shankly quote

Golac, Skovdal, Harri Kampman spring to mind.
Always thought that Dr Jo Venglos at the bheasts was out there as well but he actually had quite a successful career, just thankfully not with them.
Harri Kampman - god, that’s a blast from the 1990s.
Likewise, Ivan Golac.

the Italian nutters at Dundee were good for a laugh too

Simon Stainrod turned up to watch our school team play on a Saturday morning round about 1992.

So...

Either his missus got sick of him never being at home and rode someone from FF.

Or...

He did whatever he could to get out the house because his missus rode someone from FF.

:))
