Turnbulls had a great second half of season but was it genuinely not all about Hastie till we signed him and they dropped him out the squad. There is absolutely no such thing as wages being taken into account when discussing a fee, it’s a made up myth (on this board) to try and play down the fee’s Celtic have received for their players in the past.
If fee’s and wages were taken into account when players were being signed then Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara are even better value for us than I originally thought.

He moved from Celtic to Southampton, signed a 4 year deal, asked to move after 2 and was told no, played a third season, refused to sign a new contract and was then sold or else Southampton would’ve lost him for nothing at the end of the next season.
