Murphy update anyone

Have the players been at Auchenhowie since the game? Considering how bad the weather has been?
 
Greg Docherty has revealed to The Scottish Herald on Wednesday that he does not believe the injury sustained by Rangers team-mate Jamie Murphy is a serious one.

“He is the best wide man in the league in my opinion and he has really shown that in the last few games. Obviously, we hope it is nothing serious and we get him back for the weekend. He looked in good spirits after the game so I am hoping it is nothing serious and is just precautionary.”

Tell them nothing until team is named and even then leave that to the last seconds till we have to hand it in . No pictures of training or anything . Let them worry about our line up
 
Let’s just leave it to the club to tell us when they think it’s right.

I’m just back from a 3 day ban for arguing the point that those leaking injury info before the ST J game we’re doing so probably against the clubs wishes and in doing so handing out enemies an advantage.

Let’s keep this info from our enemies. Our club know what they are doing, let’s keep them guessing.
 
Guaranteed hes on Broons thug list ,he will smash him first 10-15 mins ...if he can get near him ,make no mistake thatll be the plan ,to smash our best players ,we need someone to just go out and do him first ,fu ck it take the yellow card
 
Nothing surer that Broon9 will get his free hit in the 1st couple of minutes...take your pick for Goss, Docherty or Murphy being the recipients!!

Sadly it's been confirned he won't play against us. Would love to have seen Murphy taking the absolute piss out that useless 70s porno looking bastard.
 
been thinking the formation over and over. Diamond like at the piggery or play “our way” and batter them with the front 4. I know it’s a risk but I would rest them all on Sunday. Or limited to 4 mins each

I'm sure the other wank that thought he was a hard man laughing at neymar hasn't played a game in about 6 months.

If he plays 3 at the back with wingbacks then Murphy, John, Candeias and Tav will get a lot of joy down the wings.

I personally think it's a good thing that he's out.

Think of the abuse some of our players take off idiots in the support after a few mistakes or a few bad games. The guys vice captain, a Swedish international whose going to the World Cup and has played about 200 games for them.

Totally agree with all of that.

Anyone who thinks they're weaker with Lustig playing is seriously mistaken.

The alternatives are much worse for them.
 
The way our injuries have been this season I'm expecting to see him round September time. We don' pick up niggly 2 week injuries

We didn't play a diamond at the Piggery, or anything like it. We played five across the middle, Candeias-Holt-McCrorie-Kranjcar-Windass.

When we never had the ball we had a diamond shape. Each player had an opponent to shut down and press. We played a diamond you could see it clearly
 
From Murtys comments it sounds as if John and Wallace both won't make the old firm.

Probably being pessimistic.

No we didn't mate.

Candeias and Windass were playing wide.

Every time Tierney got the ball , Candeias was closing him down right away.

It was very much a 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 when we were defending.

from what i understand he had a scan on the foot yesterday. So hopefully good news.
 
When Jack got injured, I'm sure Murty used words very similar to today and look what's happened there.

I remain sceptical until I see Murphy's name on the teamsheet. Fingers crossed I'm proven wrong.

Either way, we have more than enough in reserve to beat Falkirk. If giving him another 7 days to play the beggars is required, that's what should happen.

GM: Lee Wallace is getting closer to where he wants to be, we need to make sure that we have him fully prepared before he is ready to go. We are waiting to hear back for news on Declan John.

Think Halliday will start Sunday with Wallace maybe getting 30 minutes if game is going to plan.

Murty was rightly keeping his cards close to his chest, although he did say that John thought he'd be fine.

McCrorie sat very deep, with Holt ahead and Kranjcar slightly more advanced. Windass and Candeias both hugged the touchline for the whole game. Not a diamond. Who was the second forward if it was a diamond?
