The next points update will be due in July. It is meant to be changing from the current five years plus the current year to three years plus the current year. This means seasons 2016/17 (261 points), 2017/18 (266 points), and 2018/19 (340 points) will all drop off. This will benefit some and hinder others.
I don’t see the point in overcomplicating this thread by putting the breakdown of points table from the three seasons that will be removed but can add to the post if anyone wants to see them.
I'll add the tables separately.
2019/20 – 345 points
2020/21 – 361 points
I've included both Edmiston House Supporter Package and the Champions Wall for this season, as this is when I purchased both. Others may have theirs in a different year.
2021/22 – 490 points
I have included one point for the programme for the Rangers 150th Legends Match. I subscribed to the programmes package in January and received this as part of that – so am assuming a point will be awarded.
I have not included any domestic away points as I don’t think anyone is fully sure on how this will work. My guess is if you registered for every match and bought all the tickets offered, you will receive the maximum amount of points on offer. One point for Cat A game and two points for Cat B game. If you were offered a ticket and did not purchase it, you do not receive points. But that’s just a guess.
2022/23 – 176 points
I have included one point for Stadium Tour but have not included any points for the Sunderland friendly as I am not sure if the points update will be before or after this match. Also, I am sure that for both the Leipzig and Sheffield Wednesday away friendlies you were meant to receive three points but only actually received one? As this is abroad they may even offer fifteen points, the same as Europea Away matches.
Maximum points available should be 1372, without including domestic aways for season 2021/22. Once added it should take it to around the 1400 mark. The current maximum points are around 2010 points, so this will be a drop of over 600 points.
