Nabil Fekir to Real Betis for £17.7m

Didn't he fail a medical with them?

Wonder if there's an underlying issue which has forced his price down.

Liverpool were going to pay treble that last season

With all the resources in England, Im surprised nobody took a chance on him at that price, knee problems or not

Second a club or agent sees it's a team from England coming in then it probably isn't that price/wage/agent fee anymore.

Imagine they got a phone call from West Ham post Arnautovic, it'd be 70k a week minimum!

Thats a good point right enough mate

But add a few million on, when you see teams like Sheffield United and Bournemouth lashing out big bucks on guys, Im just surprised a second tier English side didnt take the chance

Im guessing this will be the replacement for the lad Spurs are trying to sign from Betis then?

Fair doos he had a bit of a knee issue a year ago and now only has a year left on his deal but it goes to show English clubs are overpaying for every single player going

Moving to a better standard league but probably not a bigger club? A bit of a sideways move, no? Wonder why he wouldn't just sign a new deal and stay on at Lyon?

Yes he did. His knee is fucked.

Club videos and photos were all done then the medical results came back showing how bad His knee actually was.

Strange deal imo and one I don't get. Linked with top clubs a year ago but ends up at mediocre Real Betis in a cut price deal. Injury concerns or not that's a baffling move.
