Yep, end thread!Still a rat
For a boy that grew up supporting us then played for us and won honours what on earth went through his mind when agreeing to that press conference

This is the best way to make sure I'm not committed to a third division club when I can play Premier League football I imagine. Are we going to be scorned forever with Naismith? I notice the language around him hasn't mellowed much. For a boy that grew up supporting us then played for us and won honours what on earth went through his mind when agreeing to that press conference
I suspect being lied to by Charles Green the Craig Whyte wouldn't have helped and I believe players that left probably had an idea what they chancers had planned.I can only imagine: money and an agent in his ear.
Perhaps. But he’s had over a decade to clear that up.I suspect being lied to by Charles Green the Craig Whyte wouldn't have helped and I believe players that left probably had an idea what they chancers had planned.
Still one of the best Rangers players i have seen.

Bocanegra wasn't exactly on the way up.Nor should it. There was absolutely no need to come out with what he did when the club and more importantly the fans were at their lowest. Absolutely nobody expected a young ambitious player to play in div3 but you had guys like bocanegra with no emotional attachment to the club act with much for dignity.

Naismith was a decent player don’t get me wrong but he was no where near the best Rangers player in the teams he played in.Still one of the best Rangers players i have seen.
Brilliant playerNaismith was a decent player don’t get me wrong but he was no where near the best Rangers player in the teams he played in.
Bocanegra wasn't exactly on the way up.
That’s exactly what I thought. Rat.For a boy that grew up supporting us then played for us and won honours what on earth went through his mind when agreeing to that press conference
No rodPut that rod away my man.
Someone want to give a summary, cause I'm not fuckin listening to that lady's front bottomStill a rat
I've got so many grudges it's hard to keep them all simmering with equal fervour. No but he acted with a bit of class. Naismith and Whittaker had absolutely no need for the press conference. It did absolutely nothing.
All they needed to do was do everything in private and respect the club and fans. A club that looked after him when he was injured half the time
At the end my the day 99% of footballers are driven by money. Too busy scrambling for the exit door to get a contract somewhere else to really consider what he was doing. Absolutely fucked it for himself as far as ever being welcome back at Ibrox goes. For a boy that grew up supporting us then played for us and won honours what on earth went through his mind when agreeing to that press conference
He basically said we were a new club and his loyalties were with the old rangers, so why was he desperate to stay at a new club he had no ties to?I should do a copy and paste as I have been saying this for a decade.
His uncle , a very long standing poster on here, was helping me get a decent quote for a new bathroom and changing a bath to a shower. We had many a conversation, 10% about my quote and 90% about Rangers. He had been to nearly every game from Stephen's school boy days until his last game.
Stephen Naismith wanted to extend his time at Rangers and was continually fobbed off. He was then told , once the shit hit the fan that he was being sold to Everton. He didn't want to go. He was then told that he would be sold to the first team that met Rangers valuation.
Been ages since I last seen his uncle post . Probably pulling his hair out with frustration at the horrible things that have been said and he can't defend his nephew.
And any transfer received would have gone straight into the rat scum spivs pockets.I should do a copy and paste as I have been saying this for a decade.

When he was helping you get a quote, did he invite the media and Steven Whittaker's dad and tell you that your bathroom doesn't actually exist anymore?I should do a copy and paste as I have been saying this for a decade.

What would be the point? The kangaroo court.on here would just disregard anything he says as lies and continue calling him every name under the sun.Perhaps. But he’s had over a decade to clear that up.
This sums up the nonsensical, entirely hypothetical world many posters live in simply to 'win' an argument. When he was helping you get a quote, did he invite the media and Steven Whittaker's dad and tell you that your bathroom doesn't actually exist anymore?
You’ve obviously not been watching very many then.Still one of the best Rangers players i have seen.
That may all be true but is completely irrelevant to why everyone has an issue. He stated we are no longer the same club at a press conference.I should do a copy and paste as I have been saying this for a decade.

I think he'd have been backIf Naismith had left the way McGregor and Davis left then nobody would have held it against him.
But him and his fakehaired mate decided to hold a press conference and basically knife the fans in the back.
Judas Rat.
Or, just maybe, it was a tongue in cheek comment given that nothing in the post I quoted had anything to do with why people don't like Naismith? This sums up the nonsensical, entirely hypothetical world many posters live in simply to 'win' an argument.
Aye ok mate.Or, just maybe, it was a tongue in cheek comment given that nothing in the post I quoted had anything to do with why people don't like Naismith?
He’s a wee dick but when he was at Everton he was as good as any player in the EPL.Still one of the best Rangers players i have seen.
Was definitely a very good player, no doubting his ability. I remember even near the end at Everton he got a perfect hat trick against Chelsea. He’s a wee dick but when he was at Everton he was as good as any player in the EPL.
I've always been of the opinion that Naismith was badly advised in that press conference.Great wee player.Good Rangers man from a Rangers family.
People totally misconstrued his intentions during that interview.
Time to move on.
The million pound pay off that Bocanegra asked for to leave probably helped his judgement.Nor should it. There was absolutely no need to come out with what he did when the club and more importantly the fans were at their lowest. Absolutely nobody expected a young ambitious player to play in div3 but you had guys like bocanegra with no emotional attachment to the club act with much for dignity.
%^*& him, he’ll always be a Judas snake.I've always been of the opinion that Naismith was badly advised in that press conference.
He made a mistake, he's a bluenose, time to accept he made a mistake
Plenty better than him, but he was a great player for us.Put that rod away my man.
