NARSA

Never been either but really fancy this especially after this COVID19 stuff. However I’m holding off until travel is confirmed.

Vegas is brilliant, you’ll love it.

Parts of NARSA are excellent. You can dip in and out as you see fit.

Ive never done a Vegas one, but really, they should just host it there every year. I’d imagine it’s absolutely perfect for it.

What hotel did they go for?

I’m definitely looking at going to this again.

I was at the last one in Vegas.

Great few days and book another place to visit whilst over there.

I love Vegas, been four times. Never been to Narda though but hopefully going to this next year, will be fantastic I'd imagine.

Planet Hollywood is a great hotel and a good location. The pleasure pit in the evening time is something to behold!

Vegas is superb, you will love it. We have not been to NARSA but were meant to go to San Fran last year but covid fecked that. Dont worry about the poets, we were in Vegas when they were there but they are all in the Flamingo etc in the seedier part of town.B-D

Stayed at Planet Hollywood before and thought the whole setup was great = good location to stay, ideal to stroll along the strip too, good casino, great eye-candy, I even think Gordon Ramsey has a burger bar near the side entrance too if memory serves.

Disclaimer: despite most people saying you will love it, I know a lot of folk who hate the place!

The conventions in Vegas are generally good. Because of the location it’s more difficult to meet up with other people or have a centralized drinking place/bar that you get with other smaller conventions. I think when you compare it to the Celtic convention in Vegas it could be organized a wee bit better, for example, their pool party’s always look amazing with the DJ and all the flags and banners draped around the pool side. I understand this might be a bit more difficult at a location like Planet Hollywood as it’s so big and has so many other guests. Can’t say I’ve had nothing but great times at conventions in Vegas but I’ll prob sit next years one out and hope for a more exotic location the following year. Hope all bears booking up have a great time!

The reason they get away with that is they book into and host their event at a cheap hotel off the strip. The vermin even queue for their dinner at their main Saturday night event. Buffet service.
There is nothing the Rangers event could learn from those cheap rat bastards.

Celtic have theirs in an absolute hovel that’s why they have the run of the place

I’m thinking booking my own accommodation with a big family group, all bears and then dipping in and out is that ok

Went to the last 1 in Vegas & stayed at Luxor had a great trip & enjoyed the convention especially the Saturday night. The Friday night was brill too with the band belting out the tunes through Planet Hollywood hopefully make it back next year.

mentally challengeds were on a run of conventions where the hotels they used were imploded within a year or so of them staying there. New Frontier/Stardust/Riviera. I don't think that's a coincidence.

They have a history of staying at lower end places. Seems fitting.

LV Conventions are fantastic. As mentioned, you don't necessarily need to stay at the host hotel. There's half-a-dozen places just as nice or nicer within a stone's throw.

Also, you don't need to participate in all of the events. You can pop-in and out as you see fit. We stopped going to the Saturday night event a few conventions ago. It was too difficult to "do Vegas", then stop what you were doing to get dressed up for dinner.

We've found the Thursday and Friday do's were the best for a balance of Rangers content and celebrities. I'll book closer to the event, but won't miss it.

Regret not going to one of these a while ago, family out there that are maybe getting a bit old to go now but have been to a few, Vegas, Canada etc

Four of us booked,My mates done Vegas before and thought it was brilliant. So looking forward to it.Just started playing golf in the last year and hoping they have a golf day or just playing golf there?Anybody played golf in Vegas??

Was their in 2017 and it was immense for the most part,

highlights - the Saturday night with Dave King and co and the Friday sash bash, the all you could drink for £25 open bar in the Venican

minor gripes- had to share Vegas with the beggars who were their usual obnoxious selfs & kind of wished there was something planned during the day (bar the golf day)

There is a golf day/round outing. Can’t remember if it’s on the Friday or Saturday morning. You’d need to book early as possible though.

Played in the mini football tournament in 2017.
4 teams with a Rangers guest. Mols was supposed to be on my team but was injured.....would have been a dream just to pass a ball to him. Nacho’s team won it. Parks were like bowling greens.

Went to Vegas and played golf at NARSA, also played a few other rounds. We used a hire company for clubs and booked a car and driver for the duration
