Newcastle with a good start to the UCL

Howe not training at the stadium seems a bit weird say he thinks it is pointless.

This will be the first Champions League game he will ever been at also which again is a bit weird given his job.

Lol, those sticklers for time keeping and manners UEFA. Who can’t be arsed properly communicating when fixtures will be released to the public.
They are a gangster organisation. They deliberately make rules vague so that they have excuses to fine clubs. It's why I don't understand why fans here take the fines we get so seriously for certain things. If it wasn't for flares, they would fine us for 'blocking stairways' which is their favourite.

Loads of teams don’t do that including us.

Remember UEFA fined us for the game starting late when it's their guy on the touchline telling the ref when to start or the fine for insufficient stewarding when the ground was empty

I recall us being late for our Lisbon tie in Lisbon 71 due to a baggage handlers strike, IIRC. Maybe we made it in time, but I’m sure Uefa rules were that you had to be in the City 24 hours before the game.

Can’t Remember:))

We don’t train at the stadiums either.

Done the man city tour yesterday and teams in the prem must do the coin toss 1 min and 20 secs befor ko time for adverts. Football really is going mad

Someone depends on schedule we do majority of time train on the pitch

The club has to make it available to the opposition teams if they choose not to that's up to them I guess
I can’t remember the last time we trained on the opposition pitch before a Euro away game.

Gerrard initially maybe? The run to Seville we trained at the training centre in the morning before the game and then flew to the away city. That’s what we did for Servette & Eindhoven also.

I never knew we didn't do this.

Just assumed it was standard
