Paedos then, paedos now, paedos forever
So he was the WBA technical director that directed them out of the Premier League? That great an appointment he's been out of work for a year...
They are having a f()cking car crash of a summer so far. Long may it continue.Hopefully this all turns to shit.
A wee summer job to tide him over. Butlins werent hiring.Out of work for a year and only been given a contract for the summer. That's confidence inspiring!
Just lovely
From the daily rhetard:
Nick Hammond appointed Celtic transfer guru 'across summer period' to help Neil Lennon
The former West Brom transfer guru has been out of work since leaving the Hawthorns and will help out with Celtic this summer.
Celtic have appointed former West Brom technical director Nick Hammond to help with their summer transfers.
The ex-sheep goalkeeper will initially work across the summer period when he joins up with the club on July 1.
He'll be tasked with finding new players for Hoops boss Lenny Gaga as he looks to rebuild his squad after the treble Treble winning campaign.
Hammond previously worked with Reading and West Brom in similar positions.
At Reading, he was director of football while Brendan Rodgers was at the club and he also played for the club while Tommy Burns (who knew) was manager in the 90s.
The scum have been on the lookout for a recruitment expert since Lee Congerton left the club to join Brenda at Leicester.
Shitting it !
And a hundred managersAn out of work guy who found players for west brom (a team never in europe and very negative)
Sounds promising....... For us
What a bunch of spoiled brats...
Thought those two criteria were on and the sameAs I said on a previous. Only a massive fan or someone of severely questionable character would sign for them at this stage.
It's not what went on in the showers at Hampden that's the issue.
That doesn't mean that our business is poorly run if we don't win every bid"
It's not just Turnbull, though. The football side of the business is manifestly poorly run.
We go into the Champions League qualifiers every year understrength and with gaps in key positions.
We spent most of last season with our record-breaking manager and our exorbitantly remunerated chief exec briefing against each other in the press.
We somehow contrived to botch the Boyata situation so badly that we managed to go into the most important games of our season without him and then lose him on a free transfer.
We lost our best striker without replacing him, even though we knew that would leave us with Eddy as our only option up front.
We fannied about with McGinn and lost a player the manager wanted.
In a panic, we gave Mulumbu and Izzy contracts at the end of the summer window last year. They made a combined total of like 20 appearances for us last season.
Our January dealings are abysmal. The season before last, we brought in Hendry, Musonda and Compper. Last season, we brought in Burke, Weah and Toljan who provided a bit of energy for about five minutes and then nothing.
We are so reliant on McGregor, Tierney and Forrest that they have been played into the ground. These are all Academy products - nothing to do with our scouting department. McGregor played more minutes than any other player in European football last season and Tierney did the same the season before. Tierney is now knackered and we have had an ex-Aberdeen winger playing full back for months.
We have unbelievably still failed to deal with the right back issue, which has been staring us in the face for 24 months. And we somehow managed to piss off a fantastic servant in the process.
We publicly tried and failed to get McKenna and Piccini.
We appointed our manager in the shower without considering any other applications. This is a manager who with the best will in the world has done nothing in the game since leaving us five seasons ago which should merit him getting the job.
We've leaked our bloody transfer dossier.
And now Turnbull. It's amateur hour.
The success over the last three years - and maybe longer - has been down to the good work of our coaches and largely down to a core of players (Broony, Lustig, Forrest, McGregor and Tierney in particular) who have gone to the well time and time again. Rodgers' first window was a success but we've been miles off it since then.
Sacked by Christmas for not using a green font on official club documents
