Nick Walsh is a sneaky wee rat.

A clear pattern is emerging with this wee weasel.

Got so many decisions clearly wrong today. Ended up flinging cards about like confetti towards the end. Took him to about the 85th minute to try tell McGregor to shut up that he was the referee.

If a non corrupt referee was in charge today we would’ve won.
McGregor was an absolute disgrace today and Walsh let him dictate decisions all game long.

How folk on here reckon he is the best in Scotland is mystifying. He was fair his first half dozen games in the top flight, till he got his feet firmly under the table and has reverted to celtic supporting type.

He has refereed 2 celtic games this season, given them a penalty in each straight off the bat. How VAR never overturned the one at Tynecastle is an even bigger mystery.

He awarded 30 fouls against their opposition but only 17 against celtic. He has booked 6 opposition players, 2 Ross County players within the first 39 minutes, but only one celtic player over the entire 2 games in 93rd minute at Tynecastle.

We have suffered him 4 times this season, 2 of the 3 penalties we have been awarded were by VAR. Totally ignored by him in the first instance.

He has awarded 53 fouls against us over these 4 games, an average of 13.25 per game, we average 9.3 in the others he wasn’t in charge of, over 40% more than average, Celtic over 10% less.

He has managed to book 4 of our players in the first half of games. It’s happened only one other occasion in the 16 domestic games this season.

He continually allows free hits on our players, Devlin’s yesterday a prime example. How Shinnie got through 90 minutes without a card is another mystery.

We have only won 4 out the last 7 of our matches he has been in charge of.

Only in Scotland are self-confessed Celtic fans refereeing most OF games.
And dont forget linesmen Mulvanney and Connor.
The problem lies firstly in the administration and assignment of referees. It is totally orchestrated to benefit one team only.

I can tell you right now I would not be objective if i was a Ref at the sight of those green and white hoops.

These guys should be nowhere near OF games.

He managed to book 11 players in 40 mins. Booked everyone apart from his maw.
Lost control of the game in the second half & yet again this season for the umpteenth time, Rangers lost out on VAR against the Mhanky mob.
Officials up here are rotten. Amateur hour

He's a disgrace. Horrendous referee. Helped by inconsistent use of VAR. If Celtic score the goal we did yesterday it doesn't go to VAR. Games are re refereed but only when the initial decision is in our favour. 5 goals disallowed in OF games in favour of Celtic. Imagine the reaction if the circumstances were reversed. The fallout would be off the charts. We do nothing.

When do we stop blaming the refs?

When they start doing their job, outwith the goal, having not watched it back from the top of my head.

Sterling was pushed over by Scales with two hands. I was in South Stand upper and could see it clear as day. No foul

Ten seconds or so later Hatate gets a tap on the shoulder goes down, Walsh gives a foul.

Silva was getting fouled out wide, Johnston I think was holding him, Silva turned him and two celtic players were out of position, Silva was away. Walsh pulled it back to give us a foul. It gave celtic an advantage as they could get players back in position.

At every corner we had Carter Vickers pushing and holding Balogun, same with Scales on Davies. It goes on in every box but a bit like Clancy at his piggery shame game you have to be consistent not selective and chose to punish only one incident. Raskin who was getting held by Taylor.

Sima was on 5 mins or so got booked for trying to free his foot as Johnston deliberately trapped it with both. Johnston sprung straight up put his head towards Sima, only one player got a booking.

About ten minutes into the second half we were attacking Sima was running towards the box and Scales blatantly took him out the edge of the box, Walsh gave nothing. He should have been booked for his push on Sterling and taking out Sima.

Nick Walsh is as biased as they come.

A known celtic fan refereeing celtic games is only going to end in one way.

Was just thinking how the additional time on Saturday descended in to a farce, in terms of how stop start it was.

Walsh managed to book 12 players in what was far from one of the dirtiest games I’ve seen. 3 of these after 90 minutes when we were trying to build momentum for the equaliser.

It took me back to one of the first games we had him. Kilmarnock at home 1-1. He managed to book 10 players that day 6 of them from 87 minutes onwards again when we were trying to build momentum and get a winner.

I just checked the defeat at Parkhead he was in charge of 10 bookings, 6 of them from 80 mins on again with us in the ascendancy killing our momentum.

The Viaplay Cup at Hampden last year, 10 bookings, all from 50 mins on 8 from when we got it back to 1-2, but crucially 5 from 90 mins

He is not known for being card happy unless it involves us it seems. He also seems to lose control in “big games”. This season take out the 2 games I mentioned involving us and Raith Rovers v Dundee Utd game where he booked 11 which is an anomaly as he averaged 4.2 bookings a game over the other 30 and last season take out the viaplay final he averaged less than 4 bookings per game over the other 40.

A pattern seems to be emerging.

Nicky Walsh in his 2 Old Firm games this season.

Hanball incident - gives a GOAL kick (40 minutes later, we are told "it was offside anyway". Still no explanation as to wtf went on there).
2 Celtic players on yellows commit 2nd yellow fouls - no 2nd yellow.

Saturday
Never mind the goal he chopped off.

Shove on Sterling just outsdie the box. WTF did he think it was?
Sterling's booking
Sima's booking for trying to free his leg. He had the yellow out even before getting to the player!
I still don't know why Cantwell was booked.

A lot of questions need asked for what are pretty clear decisions for him to make. All beside the goal he disallowed.

The only reason a ref should be stopping play in a situation such as that is if a red card is the outcome. Otherwise, play on and if the offence warrants a booking, issue it at the next stoppage. In Walsh’s case, this is him thinking he’s smart and no-one will notice what he’s doing. Get the message out, we know what you’re at, you bent bastard!!

We can all quibble about this booking and that booking.

Nick Walsh is a good ref IMO. I was glad it was him going to the monitor at the end because some refs might just have been swayed by the on-going false narrative of Rangers being handed penalties to win games.

A good ref would have spotted our players being held.

But he was concentrating on Hart.
He appears to have chosen to miss the blatant hold on our players.

It took him about 10 seconds to look at the monitor , he only had one objective in mind , and that was to disallow the goal, the wee guy with small man syndrome was itching for var to intervene and find a fault , but completely overlook the other short arse Taylor fouling Raskin

He took 7 seconds to disallow a goal in the nations showpiece occasion , probably the shortest ever VAR review since being introduced

Once again - Any excuse to help the scum

What else angers me with all the refs when we play them they try to even out the yellow cards they give them at end when they are not a problem for them.

Deserves a bump.
This rat was without doubt Celtic's greatest asset last season. He's not even attempting to show impartiality. The incredible length of injury time added today at the Theatre of Shame needs looked into.
This started when Rodgers threatened him that is career would be over if he cost Celtic again after he made an error that cost them a win v Ross County in his last spell at the Piggery.
That was Don Robertson, was it not?
Anyway, I agree. He's a sneaky wee rat.

Is it not the 4th official that let's the referee know how much time is to be added.

You do know he disallowed a Celtic goal in injury time without going to VAR?

5 sub breaks, 2 goals and a VAR check will be at least 5 or 6 mins of that. I caught a couple of minutes on a dodgy feed after the third (disallowed goal) and also the sheep were going down with cramp and the physio was on a couple of times even in that short space of time. Not surprised tbh.

Many games have those sorts of stoppages in the second half.

How many of them have 10 minutes added on and 13 minutes actually played?

Extremely few I'd imagine.

Don't make excuses. We know what this is.

Do you honestly believe there would have been 10 minutes indicated if Celtic were 3-2 up going into the 90th minute?

The 10 minutes added on was strange. Should have been about 6 or 7.
However the additional 3 were fair enough. Substitution and 2 VAR checks

I’ve said before watch the 4-1 game at Ibrox during 55 and look at the performance of Walsh compared to now.

He’s went from giving a second booking to McGregor after Roofe scored to giving them free reign now.

He’s clearly compromised.
Agree. He was actually a very decent, neutral ref. He's been brought right into line now.

I’d like to see the stats over the course of the season what it counts to overall. Could Be as much as an extra game played with all the additional storage. ‘Play to we score’

Didn't watch it today but by all accounts 13/14 minutes was absolutely outrageous. It's blatant.
