Non Rangers 2022 Summer Transfer Thread

West Ham are set to bid in the region of £30m for Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

The 20-year-old has been identified as West Ham's top striker target this summer.

38 games for Southampton last season, 9 goals. Previously on loan at Vitesse.
That’s a steal even at £30m .

They’ve been a club who regularly waste money on strikers, don’t think United would be hard to deal with either so they should be all over that.
The thing is, they aren't exactly buying bad strikers. But they all seem to end up disasterly bad. Kezman, Crespo, Shevchenko, Torres, Falcao, Higuian, Morata and Werner. The only real striking success in the last 20 years was Drogba

Diego Costa too, didn’t do too much after Chelsea but had a really good record for them and any manager other than Conte would’ve kept him.

Hibernian have completed the signing of St Gallen forward Élie Youan on loan.

Lad was highly rated as a youth. Will be interesting to see how he gets on in Scotland. Left wing or through the middle.

Hibs doing decent (their standards) work in the transfer market; Marshall, McGeady, Youan, Tavares.

Interesting move. The media here had him signing for Hamburg.

A Brazilian midfielder that plays in Belgium, there are a few decent sides after him such as Ajax.

Suggestions now Man City are signing him and will loan him out.

Would rather they didn’t get him
Supposedly he is owned by the City group.
The tims are part of the City group aren't they? It's looking more and more like it.

Kelle Roos seems like a decent signing for Aberdeen. Joe Lewis has struggled these past couple of seasons.
They've made some quite interesting signings, Hibs too.

Neither just signing players that have played here or are known to the manager, as SPFL teams usually do. Recruitment team obviously getting a greater say.

Interested to see how Roos, Miovski & Stewart do at the sheep, Tavares & Youan for Hibs. All very decent signings at first glance.

Dhanda at Ross County could be a cracking signing too.

Aberdeen have spent near on £1m this summer.

Apparently when he heard Hibs were interested, it only took a minute for him to make his mind up.
