Non-Rangers Winter transfer thread 22/23

It's funny to see how much Conte resents Spence. He even said it was a club signing and nothing to do with him.

Conte admitted to football.london in South Korea during the summer that Spence had been a player the club were keen to purchase, which with the subsequent lack of game time led fans to assuming the Italian did not want the player. Conte explained himself that he sees Spence as an important prospect for the future but that others are ahead of him at the moment in the pecking order.

So he admits he was a club signing? That article was from October 17th and he's played less than 30 minutes of football, off the bench, since.

Couldn't even get on ahead of Emerson Royale when they were 4-0 up the other day.

.

I don‘t think he meant the “future” being less then 3 months.

It’s like saying Beale resents Lowry, because he couldn’t even get on the bench on Monday.

TBF, Lowry didn't cost up to 20 million. Conte brought him in the 87th minute when they were 2-0 down at Villa but then left him on the bench when they were 4-0 up at Palace, hence why Spurs fans think he's using him to make a point to the board

Anyway, I'm sure we both have better things to do on a Friday night than speculate about Djed Spence's Spurs future.

Moving on, the media here are reporting Sommer to Bayern is close. Quite a funny signing as he would invariably turn in superhuman performances anytime BMG played them.

what is the apparent issue?
Couldn't tell you in detail I just have a close mate from Boro and I mind chatting wondering why he was at Forrest when he looked a cracking player and he mentioned it.

Pretty sure he also tweeted Neil Warnock (the boro boss at the time) when Forrest won the play off giving him it tight to some degree.

Actually think that with the right man management Ali could be a star again. He needs somebody to believe in him, push him and get his mojo back. There is a great player in there.

Well he can do it away from Rangers.

When Mourinho susses you out in a matter of days then you know something is off!

I think he's done, personally. Learning the hard way that you can't just turn it on whenever you feel like it, and now he's incapable of getting there or anywhere near it.

Time will tell, obviously. Just hard to see how he turns it around after so long coasting.

Got to hope with another Asian player going to the scum that there ends up a split in the dressing room. It’s not out the realms of possibility that it can happen when things aren’t going well.

Garang Kuol signing for Hearts on loan.

Not quite sure that’s a good move for him but that’s a really good signing from them.

Is it Monza?

They’ll be gutted with that, so much for £25m to Chelsea.

Aye, Monza for £7 million.

They’re bitching life %^*& about the fee.

Pope Peter is back and wants the wage bill down and the dividends up, Bhoys.

Chelsea about to spent £10m to get Joao Felix on loan from Atletico for the rest of the season.

That is wild.
A player who hasn't really lived up to his early potential. Can still produce some magic though. £10m for 6 months including his full wages is a wild deal.

Option to buy at the end of the loan? Good player, not too sure if he is the type to shine in the EPL though.

Loan deal no initial option but Atlético open to sell if the price is right. They will have a few options lined up to replace him already.
