Official Official Serie A thread 21/22

03-10 Jose was untouchable. He never developed as a coach as the game moved on though.

If you said 10 years ago Jose would be in a 3rd rate European competition gettimng pumped 6-1 you'd have been laughed out the building.
He loved to slag off a few of the older coaches back in the day... I bet a few are enjoying this now. Ranieri, Wenger etc

Guardiola will have the biggest laugh, if he even can be bothered sparing a thought for him.

Crazy that there was actually a rivalry between the 2 at one point.
I do like Jose... But he's now a really second tier boss imo... However a CL finish wouldn't be a bad finish for Roma in the end

Who will sign Vlahovic? Would love him to stay in Italy preferably not at Juve. Broke a record by Toni and Batistuta today.

Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic scored a hat-trick against Spezia to pass Luca Toni and Gabriel Batistuta and is now aiming for Kurt Ronald Hamrin’s record from 1960.

He has scored 25 goals in 2021 and thus beaten two previous Fiorentina heroes, who managed to score at least 23 goals in a calendar year.

The first was Batistuta in 1998, before Toni scored 24 times in 2006. Vlahovic is now two goals behind Hamrin’s record.

The Swedish striker spent nine years in Florence between 1958 and 1967 and scored 27 goals in 1960 and 25 the year before.

Vlahovic has eight games to score at least three goals to help him surpass Hamrin and claim the record.
