1891 - Rangers 4 (A.McCreadie,Hislop,Kerr,J.McPherson) Dumbarton 2 - Scottish League (12,000)
Perhaps the most vital league match Rangers played in the opening season of the Scottish League, for the arrival of Dumbarton pitched the top two sides against each other.Dumberton were top,two points ahead of Rangers, but Rangers had a game in hand.A crowd of 12,000 were at Ibrox to roar on their favourites and played a significant part in ensuring the home side grabbed both points.Goals from McCreadie,Hislop,Kerr and McPherson gave them the win and with two games leftto play, surely the incentive to lift the very first league title.
1896 - Rangers 4 (McNeish 2,Gibson,Oswald) Hibernian 1 - Friendly (2,000)
1900 - Third Lanark 4 Rangers 4 (A.Smith 2,Hyslop,McPherson) - Inter-City League (2,000)
1903 - Hearts 0 Rangers 2 (Mackie,R.C.Hamilton) - Scottish Cup Final 2nd Replay (Played at Celtic Park) (35,000)
With the Scottish Cup Final requiring a second replay, the SFA sensibly took the decision to reduce the admission price by half,so that a standing place could be obtained for sixpence,a decision that was vindicated with a crowd of 35,000 at Celtic Park.Rangers opened the scoring after 15 minutes through Mackie then withstood furious Hearts' attacks for much of the rest of the game.Whilst the defence held fiem, especially when they were reduced to ten man when Drummond had to go off
injured,Hamilton eased the pressure with a breakaway goal near the end of the game.It was Rangers' fourth Scottish Cup win,but their fans had little way of knowing that the fifth triumph would not take place for a further 25 years.

1925 - Rangers 1 (McCandless) Ayr United 0 - Scottish League Division One (10,000)
1931 - East Fife 0 Rangers 4 (McPhail,J.Smith,Marshall,Archibald) - Scottish League Division One (8,000)
Going into the home straight of the 1930-31 league season there were three sides who stood a chance of lifting the title, reigning champions Rangers, perennial challengers Celtic and the ever-improving Motherwell. The men from Fir Park had yet to taste the ultimate success, despite finishing runners-up twice in the previous four years, and this inexperience probaly told against them as they faltered at crucial stages.By the time of the last match of the season, therefore,Rangers headed Celtic by one point and needed a victory at Bayview Park to complete a fifth successive League title.Seldom troubled, always in command, goals from McPhail,Smith,Marshall and Archibald took them past the winning post for the 19th time in their history.
1932 - Airdrieonians 3 Rangers 0 - Scottish League Division One (6,000)
1934 - Falkirk 1 Rangers 3 (J.Smith 2,Marshall) - Scottish League Division One (15,000)
Championship number 21 and Rangers' third domestic double was achieved with this 3-1 win at Brockville.Although the hard part of the task had been completed, there was still a record to chase,Motherwell's record of 119 League goals set in their Championship winning season 1931-32,a tally Rangers were only six behind with to games to play.
1936 - Kilmarnock 0 Rangers 3 (Kinnear,Venters,Macauley) - Scottish League Division One (8,000)

1953 - Rangers 1 (Prentice) Aberdeen 1 - Scottish Cup Final (Played at Hampden Park) (113,700)
Rangers had endured two barren seasons, during which time only an appearance in the League Cup Final in 1952 had raised hopes. They returned with a vengeance in 1953,pushing Hibernian for the title (which was ultimately won by Rangers on goal average) and aiming for their seventh double when they came up against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final.A crowd of 129,762 were drawn to Hampden Park for the first meeting, that necessitated a replay.

1964 - Rangers 3 (Miller 2,Brand) Dundee 1 - Scottish Cup Final (Played at Hampden Park) (120,982)
Fifteen years since they had first achieved the first Scottish domestic treble,Rangers repeated the feat with a 3-1 victory over Dundee in the Scottish Cup final. It was the third consecutive season the cup had been won,the first time this had been achieved since 1948-50.The final was also a personal triumph for Ralph Brand, for he scored one of Rangers goals and had thus scored in three consecutive finals, the first time this had been achieved.

2010 - Hibernian 0 Rangers 1 (Lafferty) - Scottish Premier League (10,573)
A goal from Kyle Lafferty in the 17th minute was enough to see off Hibernian and secure Scottish League title number 53 for Rangers
2015 - Rangers 2 (Vučkić, Law) Falkirk 2 - Scottish Championship (35,566)

1964 - a very memorable game and I have always been amazed by the number of Dundee supporters who raised it with me down through the years.

1987 - Ibrox was absolutely at fever pitch that day as that mob were at Paisley and there was a chance we could win the league on the day if they dropped a point.

2015 - a good fight back in the last few minutes from 2 goals down got us a draw. My other memory from that day is a water pipe bursting in the Main Stand just above where we were sitting,

1903 A triumph that we had to wait 25 long years to savour again.
1999 Was that the day a sheep fan ran on the park to go for Andy Cameron?

1987 Ibrox was buzzing.remember going along the m8 passing the manky mob coming back from playing St Mirren at love street and the bear busses were bouncing and they were sat in silence
