1969 - Rangers 0 Tottenham Hotspur 1 - Friendly (55,500)
1975 - Rangers 2 (Parlane,A.MacDonald) Hertha Berlin 3 - Friendly (41,000)
1979 - Rangers 3 (J.McDonald,Jardine,Cooper) Celtic 1 - Drybrough Cup Final (Played At Hampden Park) (40,609)
Rangers won the Drybrough Cup for the only time, with a 3-1 win over Celtic to be savoured. The Rangers support in the 40,609 crowd would have enjoyed the win however it was accomplished, but Rangers' performance on the day was of the highest quality, with the goals themselves a delight irrespective of the status of the competition. Sandy Jardine scored Rangers' second, collecting the ball by his own penalty area and setting off on a run that took him past all Celtic attempts at stopping him before firing home when he reached the other penalty area. Davie Cooper's goal, the third, was even better, flicking the ball over four defenders and then vollying home before the ball hit the ground

got to be the biggest crowd livi ever took to Ibrox.....just show's glory hunting isn't specifically linked to the old firm

1979 ,not much can be added to what has been said a million times before, but i am so glad that i was present to witness coop"s truly magnificent goal, the manky shower behind the goal got an even closer look at this brilliance than our guys at the far end

1969 - The return of King Jim Baxter.
1991 - The physical difference in Mark Hateley from the previous season was remarkable.

1969 - there was a lot of excitement amongst us with Baxter's return. I remember walking over to Ibrox from the Calton with one of my pals. Baxter was at least two stones heavier than the last time I'd watched him play. Amazing to think it was 51 years ago.

1990 - I was at Dens that day. I think Huistra made his debut for us.
