Clyde was languishing near the bottom of the table and were not expected to offer much resistance as Rangers attempted to make it 12 wins out of 12 League matches.Rangers hit top form at Ibrox, despite a disappointing crowd of just 4,000,scoring eight goals with no reply thanks to James Miller (three),Alec Sharp (two),Neilly Gibson (two) and an own goal.

1969 - Rangers 1 (Baxter) Gornik Zabrze 3 - European Cup-Winners Cup 2nd Round 2nd Leg (70,000)
Rangers' preperation for such a vital game were hardly ideal, Jim Baxter and Willie Henderson missed training one day, claiming they had overslept, but both were controversially selected to play by manager Davie White. With Rangers also facing a two goal deficit from the first leg, victory was vital, but another defeat saw them out of the competition and White's spell in charge was swiftly brought to an end. In a sense, White's hands were tied over Baxter and Henderson; although they should have been disciplined by the club, the two players represented Rangers' best hopes of securing the required result. If he had left them out and still lost, would he have kept his job ?

2016 - Partick Thistle 1 Rangers 2 (Dodoo 2) - Scottish Premiership (7,951)
A late double from substitute Joe Dodoo snatched victory for Rangers at Firhill. Doolan put Thistle in front, bundling home from close range at the second attempt with 15 minutes left. Dodoo equalised five minutes later, his crisply-struck volley flying past Stuckmann in the Thistle goal. The 21-year-old struck the winner four minutes into stoppage time, coolly slotting home after being played in by Kenny Miller.
