(Miller 3,Sharp 2,Gibson 2,Watson OG) Clyde 0 - Scottish League Division One (4,000)
Clyde was languishing near the bottom of the table and were not expected to offer much resistance as Rangers attempted to make it 12 wins out of 12 League matches.Rangers hit top form at Ibrox, despite a disappointing crowd of just 4,000,scoring eight goals with no reply thanks to James Miller (three),Alec Sharp (two),Neilly Gibson (two) and an own goal.

1969 - Rangers 1 (Baxter) Gornik Zabrze 3 - European Cup-Winners Cup 2nd Round 2nd Leg (70,000)
Rangers' preperation for such a vital game were hardly ideal, Jim Baxter and Willie Henderson missed training one day, claiming they had overslept, but both were controversially selected to play by manager Davie White. With Rangers also facing a two goal deficit from the first leg, victory was vital, but another defeat saw them out of the competition and White's spell in charge was swiftly brought to an end. In a sense, White's hands were tied over Baxter and Henderson; although they should have been disciplined by the club, the two players represented Rangers' best hopes of securing the required result. If he had left them out and still lost, would he have kept his job ?
1977 - Ayr United 0 Rangers 5 (Johnstone 3,Jackson,Parlane) - Scottish Premier Division (15,300)

2016 - Partick Thistle 1 Rangers 2 (Dodoo 2) - Scottish Premiership (7,951)
A late double from substitute Joe Dodoo snatched victory for Rangers at Firhill. Doolan put Thistle in front, bundling home from close range at the second attempt with 15 minutes left. Dodoo equalised five minutes later, his crisply-struck volley flying past Stuckmann in the Thistle goal. The 21-year-old struck the winner four minutes into stoppage time, coolly slotting home after being played in by Kenny Miller.

1986 - magnificent goal from Durrant.

In my humble opinion the best player to have come through the ranks at Ibrox (and I saw Willie Henderson play).

1960, one of my first games.
a strong killie side . Andy Kerr was a tremendous poacher at that time.

1977: Hugh Sproat in goals with his green jersey on, marching up and down his line ‘playing’ the flute?

2000: Watched the game in some ropey sports bar in Moscow. Got ‘requested‘ to leave at the end as I’d apparently been over exuberant. Commie ba5tards but very big commie ba5tards.

1986 - the last goal Chris Woods conceded until Hamilton in the Cup.

1988 - The first game after Murray bought the club.

1910 - Rangers 7 (Reid 4,Chapman 2,Hogg) Motherwell 1 - Scottish League Division One (6,000)
Willie Reid bangs in another 4 goals to take his tally to 24 Goals in his last 16 games.
Rangers would go on to win the League that season, along with. both the Glasgow Cup, and the Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup. Both Finals were against Celtic,
3-1 in the GC, with Reid scoring one, and scoring both in the 2-1 victory in the GMCC.
Including end of season tour/friendlies Willie Reid would record an incredible 64 Goals in 51 Games.
Rangers would go on to win the League in the next three consecutive seasons.
Willie Reid would be Rangers top scorer in all of the next six seasons.
Reid won 9 Scotland Caps between 1911-14, scoring the the third in a 3-1 win v England in his last International.
To this day, Willie Reid remains in the Top 5 League Goalscorers in Scottish Football history.

2000 was a weird one, was great to pump them but IIRC we were that far behind it was still obvious we weren't catching them.

When you look at that team and the players we had the total collapse in the 2nd half of the season was even more mystifying.

2016 - was convinced Dodoo was gonna be some player for us. Still get reminded of that to this day...

I was at this game. An unbelievable strike by Dodoo.
