1960 - Rangers 4 (Millar 2,Davis,Brand) Ferencvaros 2 - European Cup-Winners Cup 1st Round 1st Leg (36,000)
Rangers' victory over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup final in April gave them entrance into the inaugural European Cup-Winners Cup,a competition with which Ibrox holds a special affection. Their first match in the tournament drew a crowd of only 36,000 (full houses had witnessed nearly all of their home matches in the premier competition, the European Champions' Cup),but a 4-2 win put them in the driving seat for the second leg
1963 - Third Lanark 0 Rangers 5 (Forrest 4,Baxter) - Scottish League Division One (25,000)
1965 - Rangers 3 (Forrest 2,McLean) Benfica 1 - Friendly (37,535)

1971 - Rangers 1 (A.MacDonald) Stade Rennes 0 - European Cup-Winners Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (42,000)
If Rangers had been defensive in the first leg they were the complete opposite in the second, but still only recorded one goal for all their efforts,Alex MacDonald netted the only goal of the game late in the first half, but Rangers should have won by considerably more
1974 - Kilmarnock 0 Rangers 6 (Young 2,Jardine Pen,McKean,Johnstone,McLean) - Scottish League Division One (19,609)
1977 - FC Twente 3 Rangers 0 - European Cup-Winners Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (20,000)
1983 - Rangers 10 (J.McDonald 3 1Pen,Mitchell 2,Redford 2,Dawson,McKay,Davies) Valletta 0 - European Cup-Winners Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (11,500)
The first time Rangers had registered ten goals in a single European match and a final aggregate win of 18-0 was indicative that they had hardly to break sweat to overcome the Maltese cup winners

2019 - Rangers 5 (Tavernier 2, 2 Pens, Stewart, Morelos, Defoe) Aberdeen 0 - Scottish Premiership (49,992)

Pitch invasion in 1985, we had Hugh Burns and Craig Paterson sent off. We had started the league pretty well iirc but eventually finished 5th.

1999, we ended up just staying in Amsterdam as we didn't have tickets, plan was to go through to Eindhoven and take our chances, found a decent boozer and settled in, when jorg scored near the end the boozer erupted,a great night ensued afterwards

1914 - Rangers 4 (Bowie,Reid,Cairns,Paterson) Hibernian 2 - Scottish League Division One (14,000)

Jimmy Bowie in this season would play 36 games scoring 6 goals in this game playing in the No. 8 jersey sets Rangers on to a good win but would only finish 3rd at the end.

1918 - Rangers 6 (Bowie 3,Hart 2,Cairns) Ayr United 2 - Scottish League Division One (10,000)

Again Jimmy Bowie scores the first goal a hat-trick in the rout of Ayr, he played in the No. 8 jersey.

1965 - most of our European opponents could be found at the old St Enoch Hotel on the day of the game. I went down there in the late afternoon and there was the usual crowd of autograph hunters. One of the Benfica coaches came out of the hotel and gave each of us a Benfica club lapel badge.

1968 - great solo effort from Penman for our equaliser.

1971 - made the mistake of going to that game with a pal who insisted on leaving the game with at least 5 full minutes of ordinary time to go with the score at 2-1 for us on aggregate. We weren't even on the subway as we'd gone to the game on the supporters bus from Brigton Cross. It was torture and I must have stood at the corner up from where the Louden now is and stopped at least half a dozen guys to check the final score. I swore never to leave Ibrox early again.

1974 - my first sighting of Bobby McKean. He really was a very good player.

1996
My very first Ibrox win against the enablers. They nearly equalised when hitting the bar, then straight from that Gazza ran the length of the pitch, ending with a brilliant diving header for 2-0.

Immediately after that game I went to visit my girlfriend’s (eventually wife’s) family... all Bheggars.

I knocked on the door and her wee brother answered, wearing his Celtic top and looking like he had been headering the wall since Gascoigne had scored:p

At one point her mum asked what I’d been up to that afternoon and I was delighted to tell her while the old man squirmed.

"1977 - FC Twente 3 Rangers 0 - European Cup-Winners Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (20,000)"
IIRC the first leg finished 0-0, I think I remember the highlights, possibly Alex Cameron commentating, they contained us well and we were 2nd best in the return. The Dutch were a powerful football nation at this time.
