1970 - Rangers 1 (Stein) Bayern Munich 1 - Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (82,743)
Chasing a one goal deficit from the first leg,Rangers were compelled to attack, but the turning point of the game came just outside their own penalty area.Bayern were awarded a free-kick which the referee indicated was indirect,Gerd Muller's shot struck no one on its way into the net,yet the referee awarded the goal.Although Colin Stein equalised soon after, that goal thatshould never have been saw Bayern through 2-1 on aggregate

A key feature of Kiev's play in the first leg had been to fully exploit the wide open space down the wing;Graeme Souness was to ensure there was no repeat by having the touch-lines brought in.The pitch conformed to UEFA's measurement requirements, but Kiev were now to be denied space.Rangers' more direct approach took them through, with Mark Falco and Ally McCoist getting the goals to ensure a 2-1 aggregate victory

2004 - Rangers 1 (Prso) Maritimo 0 - AET (Rangers Won 4-2 On Penalties) - UEFA Cup 1st Round 2nd Leg (47,360)
Gregor Vignal's penalty sent Rangers into the UEFA Cup group stage after a nail-biting 120 minutes at Ibrox. Dado Prso scored the vital goal during regulation time, collecting Vignal's cross before sweeping the ball past Oliveira after 71 minutes.
No more goals were forthcoming, so the match went to penalties. Novo, Prso and Thompson also scored from the spot and Stefan Klos' save from Chainho and Ferreira's miss meant Rangers progressed.

Whenever I get asked the most amazing atmosphere ever at Ibrox, that 1987 game v Dynamo Kiev always gets mentioned. The last 15 minutes was just about the most nerve shredding feeling I can remember.

1987 - This game is unlikely to be bettered for atmosphere. The sustained noise for the last 20mins will live with me forever.

Not a bad result either!

Not often reduced to tears after a game but it happened that day. Only drawback was sitting apart from the old man for it.

1912 - Rangers 3 (Parker,Hogg,Bowie) Kilmarnock 0 - Scottish League Division One (14,000)

Jimmy Bowie scoring the third goal in a fine win.

1987.
The Stadium was absolutely Jumping that night.
The game against Parma under Tricky Dicky runs it pretty close, But, as European Nights go 87 was the Best.
Happy Days!!!!;)
‘’78 against Juventus was some atmosphere. Paisley Road West after it was brilliant as well! As a 15 year old then it was magic follow following!

Dynamo bar the goalkeeper were the USSR side that got to the last 16 in Mexico 86.
That night we beat the Soviet Union including Belanov European Player of the year.

Vasyl Rats was a star, never mind the legend Oleg Blokhin.

For those who were there, the atmosphere that night will never be forgotten.
