Passing Kings of Europe - you couldn't make it up!!

What it doesn't tell you is that Joe Hart is the player in their team with most touches of the ball, after that it's the back four.

Just look at the first old firm game. Keeping possession for possessions sake is pointless.

Might as well chuck it now… that’s them Prime Barcelona…

I wonder if anyone in the main stream media ever has a bigger picture look at what they publish and think ‘ah shit we are coming across like a fanzine here.’

That’s frightening stuff all because they are quite good to watch. As Hargreaves said on Thursday midweek they are so good to watch because they take huge chances at the back with very average players left to do a VVD like sweep everything up role. Therefore they score AND concede plenty. Any team who does that is great to watch but usually win %^*& all of note.

The passing Kings of Europe have dropped out of a 32 team competition where they were horse into having a pathetic embarrassing stat of conceding more goals than every other team and find themselves trailing to an out of form Rangers team in their domestic game but by fekk, they can pass a ball

Ange Postecoglou turns Celtic into passing kings of the world as 'Ange-ball' leads Manchester City and Bayern Munich

A study of 40 top divisions across the globe shows no-one moves it better than the Hoops this season.

After some initial uncertainty over his appointment, Celtic fans are loving life under Ange Postecoglou.

The Greek-Australian boss has clear and uncompromising ideas about how the game should be played, with quick attacking football based around possession the order of the day.

And that approach is paying off in spades as new research indicates Celtic are pulling their opponents about more than anyone else in the WORLD.

Postecoglou's style has been compared to the likes of Pep Guardiola and Maurizio Sarri but when it comes to moving the ball his side have them beaten this season.

The CIES Football Observatory collated data on the number of passes attempted per match and their average length for teams from 40 leagues worldwide.

The Croats have moved the ball for 11.8 kilometres per match, on par with Ajax and just ahead of Bayern Munich and Manchester City but a full km less than Celtic.

It will come as no surprise that Rangers are second in Scotland for this metric, with 587 passes and 10.5km per match.

Aberdeen and Hearts come in with 10km each, with Hibs in fifth with 9.4km.

But it's Celtic who lead the way across those 40 leagues, further proof that 'Ange-ball' has truly taken hold at Parkhead.

Most ball circulation across 40 leagues worldwide

10 - Barcelona: 11.km per match

9 - Bodo/Glimt: 11.1km

8 - Liverpool: 11.3km

7 - MSK Zilina: 11.5km

6 - Sevilla: 11.5km

5 - Manchester City: 11.6km

4 - Bayern Munich: 11.7km

3 - Ajax: 11.8km

2 - Dinamo Zagreb: 11.8km

1 - Celtic: 12.8km
Surely they will want some sort of award for they great stats.

They really do lap up this BS… their club and their supporters. Anything that they feel gives them a degree of credit and they are all over it.

Even nonsense like this. They’ve had their arse handed to them in Europe this season yet are insistent that it’s all part of the plan.

I’m sure there was a stat that some teams keeper had the most completed passes for a few games ,

Passing the buck more like, they’re good at that, ‘it wisnae us’

This is utterly tragic, I love it B-)
It really is tragic.

A fucking abysmal attempt at dressing up a turd. I'd be embarassed offering that up as an article.

One massive irritation for me though is our inability to put Hibs to bed last week. We an only exect more of this utter shitey drivel if they win the League Cup.

Reminded of the media going nuts over the Cavalier attacking football of the nineties.

I can remember that " cavalier football " shite being trotted out in the media back in the 1970's.

As for Flangeball, it does bring UEFA Conference Qualification. Ha-ha-ha-ha !

To be fair, their scintillating passing game did lead to them absolutely demolishing Aberdeen yesterday 2-1 with a freak deflection needed to win.

They are like that wee guy you see and his face is swollen up and full of cuts and bruises, broken nose, and 2 black eyes, you say to him "somebody leather you son", and his reply is "aye, but you should have seen the other guy, he won't be messing with me again".

Why do they still sing about Lisbon when they have this at their front door
They do love patting themselves on the back

Just when you think they can't sink any lower.

Thats actually primary school levels of clutching.

What's next, they get more free kicks, corners, throw ins???

Embarrassing doesn't come close to describing that.

I know we desperately want to win every time we face them, but the upcoming game against them at Parkhead, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to win a game as much in my life :))

It will absolutely break them if we turn them over on their own midden, they will have nothing left to cling to.

Do we know if their ball boys return the ball quicker than any other team? Could be another trophy for them.

Is ‘passing kings’ a euphemism for passing the buck to ‘separate entity’ and therefore Paedo kings of the world…Because let’s face it they are undoubtedly the best in the world on that particular score.
