Club website, hit it Bears.

“For sure they are going to be totally different matches, so one we are fighting for three points and we are going to be very concentrated to get those three points.

“The other one is going to be the most important game of the season because it’s a knockout game and it gives you a pass to the semi-final of one competition.

“So one at a time, same stadium and same opponent, but totally different contests and different games for sure.”

He's very much correct. Friday is must win, to get three points, and if we win convincingly, we can go to of the league (for 16 hours or so at least).

One is a league game where Thistle would be delighted with a point, the other is a cup tie that they might try to win. However, there's also the chance they'd prefer a replay and still might sit back, making the two games more similar. That said, the way the two games in could still be very different, with different amounts of pressure on our players if things aren't working.

Cup game is played to a finish.

If we win both, then the confidence going into the Tims game will be through the roof. Just do it Pedro.

Winning both will do us the world of good and I'm confident we will. Always find it strange playing the same side a few days apart in two different competitions.

Last year, after Celtic slipped we failed to apply any pressure. ANY AT ALL. They have just been pumped. We need to win just to put them in a position to see how they react.

Both games need to be won.
League game on Friday to keep momentum going and that will add bit of pressure to other teams who then find us right back in the mix.
Cup game on Tuesday that puts us to Hampden for a semi-final

will be at Friday game and I am hopeful for a good win. :)
Result in this game will have a bearing on how both teams face up on the Tuesday.
