Plymouth trying to arrange pre season friendly with Gers

Half an hour away from me, yes fúcking please!
Closest airport is Exeter really, and may include a swap over at Brum!
The Plymouth True Blues will be in their element, if this gets the nod.
If not, they can arrange for next year and bring the League trophy with them to parade around the park.
Talking of parades, Brixham Council never get complaints or re-route the annual walk! Devon is Loyal.
What date is this years walk

That’s a long distance for a pre season friendly. Surprised the ground only holds around 12,000.
Wasn’t that long ago it could take over 30,000.

What a result for the Plymouth True Blues if this comes off? It'll be the biggest game in the city since Man U played a "home" game there back in the mid Eighties.

What date is this years walk
2nd of November. It’s always the nearest weekend before the 5th, unless landing on the 5th. As it is the date he landed. It starts at the Brixham Police station.( across from the rugby ground.) and walks down to the cenotaph, lay a wreath, then into town to the King Billy statue. Plenty of smiling locals, proud of their heritage. Then the dinner dance, normally at the Cavendish Hotel.
It’s run by the Bristol LOL, with the Plymouth branch being the main organisers. Always a great weekend for the bands that come down/over.

I am only a few miles from the ground and if the game comes off will be happy to accommodate a few bears if Hotels get full.

The bears down there deserve this.

The trip down would be madness, would probably need carried off the bus. The trip back would be hell.

Shame the capacity would be reduced cause we would fill that stadium on our own.

Further back than that if you’re talking about the game v St Etienne in
77/78 season.

Not big capacity currently and also depends on the interest of Plymouth fans as well if did happen

Behind the goal for certain

Would we get as far as the F?

With the number of bears in England alone? We’d fill that place ourselves.
