QR Codes in use for everyone on Thursday night

Hopefully goes better for me on Thursday than Dundee the other week.

Put my son's on his phone and tried a good few times with no joy for the Club Deck. Did eventually work after trying all turnstiles a few times.

Same with myself tried again and again. Phone was vibrating when I put it under but nothing happening.

Eventually a steward came over who wasn't very proficient in English. He seen my ticket said turnstiles 21/23 so was indicating I shouldn't be trying to get in at this side. Despite explaining you can always use both sides and my son who sits next to be gained entrance he was having none of it.

I walked round to the other side and was getting the same crap with the phone vibrating but nothing happening. Eventually at the umpteenth time of trying it worked having done nothing differently this time

This happened to me last season. Try making sure 'use NFC' is turned off in your phone settings. Phones have an NFC chip in them similar to the smartcard (it's what they use for contactless payment), and the reader will detect it and try to and connect to it first thinking its a smartcard, instead of just reading the QR code on your screen. That's probably what's making the phone vibrate - it shouldn't be doing that. That fixed it for me last year.

SmartCards for season ticket matches (SPFL). QR codes for all Cup and European matches.
I got a ticket printed for Thursday night at the ticket office when I was at Ibrox last week as I hadn’t received a QR code(or deleted it) & the guy in the ticket office said it smartcard for league games & QR for all other games.

It was him who suggested printing a ticket off for me as to quote “I don’t trust the email system”

Will try that next time mate.

NFC is always turned on as use for payments. Worked first time no probs at the Hampden ones. Hopefully this fixed it though.

*Edit, in saying that don't think NFC would be on with my son's and he had the same problems until it eventually worked.

I had been wondering when payment was coming out of my account for the 4 match package. I went to ticket office before the Dundee game, to be told I wasn't on CCCS anymore. The guy in the ticket office put me back on CCCS, but told me to buy my tickets on Tuesday 24th September. I did so and I got tickets right beside the directors box. The tickets have now been cancelled and I'm now in my usual seat in the Copland rear. I was looking forward to sitting in MFK as well lol

Can’t find any emails with the Lyon tickets I’ve maybe deleted them. What’s the best email address for the ticket office to resend?
