Question - Getting to the Airport after a game.

I am thinking about flying up for the Hibs Sunday game instead of the usual long drive.

I can get a flight leaving Glasgow at 7:50pm, but I've never tried to get to the airport after a game. Anyone know any 'best routes' or escape plans?

From experience is 5pm'ish to 7:50pm, a big enough gap to make the flight comfortably?

I drive by the airport going home and usually take my car, especially to Sunday games.

77 bus from Sheidhall Road just past QEUH is a good shout which is about 30 min walk from Ibrox. Bus every 15 min or so and takes about half an hour to airport.

Getting an Uber after last OF game was difficult even well over an hour after ko.

Airport bus 500 from Buchanan st/Queen St is every half hour and costs £8.50.

You are lucky, that's loads of time. For some reason a month or two ago Easyjet changed all the Saturday evening flights to 18:10 instead of around 20:00 I think it was. Disgraceful.

You could probably walk to the airport in that time!
