I had to sign up on my phone with it just on normal mobile connections with the wifi turned off. Wouldn't let me sign up on my laptop for some reason.Won't let me sign up my interest. Won't accept any password I try?

I don’t mean this in a bad way but if you have to ask that then I think you should do a bit of reading up on shareholding before parting with your cash. It’s not for everyone, I get the sentiment side of it though. So do you get more shares if you invest more or is it more of a good will gesture if for talking sake someone invested thousands rather than £500
Once the one person has the shares he could just sell of gift some of them to the others via a broker could he not ?I guess the 5 could chip in but they would need to be in one name and would only come with one invite to the AGM
Certainly could.Once the one person has the shares he could just sell of gift some of them to the others via a broker could he not ?
Same for me.Pre-registered. Get back my shares i lost the last time.
Wow, wasn’t expecting this! Excellent news.
Can I buy in someone else’s name? Would like to get a couple of shares in the kids’ names.
I’ll check your previous posting history before confirming your legitimacy to lead such movement. ;-)
It was asked more from the sentimental part of view in terms of could fans intentionally overpay for them to increase the equity provided into the club but I'd imagine the agreed value to be raised cannot be breached until another share issueI don’t mean this in a bad way but if you have to ask that then I think you should do a bit of reading up on shareholding before parting with your cash. For sure. And it will be exactly the same cnuts who are always telling us that "you let your club die."I'm a fan of this, rank and file supporters havent had the chance to invest directly for a while as an individual. No doubt it will be painted as something to worry about by the people who hate us but I'm definitely going to buy some.
You could buy with mates then get them transferred to each of you when allocated i would think £100 worth each or something?
No, it doesn’t work that way. Share price is set and you’ll get x amount of shares depending on how much you put inIt was asked more from the sentimental part of view in terms of could fans intentionally overpay for them to increase the equity provided into the club but I'd imagine the agreed value to be raised cannot be breached until another share issue
I think Tifosy has a trading platform itself. Will be interesting to see if you can use that platform to trade these issued Rangers shares amongst Tifosy members post issue.Once the one person has the shares he could just sell of gift some of them to the others via a broker could he not ?
Limited to £100k and I would expect all names investing over say £50k will be vetted.Any dangers that spiv-types could buy up a big chunk of these?
Remove any special characters from the password *,^"!@ etcFor some reason it won’t accept the password, even after following the requirements.
Anyone in the same boat?

If anyone is trying to buy a huge amount of them I’d expect there to be due diligence doneAny dangers that spiv-types could buy up a big chunk of these?
Are ordinary shares different from the usual ones? I know there are two kinds of shares.
Absolutely. Hopefully will divert folk away from giving them cash as they’ve proven they can’t be trustedThis a better route than giving money to CLUB1872.
Ordinary ones are the normal type of shares. You also get preference shares but Uni was a long time ago and I can’t remember the difference anymoreAre ordinary shares different from the usual ones? I know there are two kinds of shares.

IMHO, £500 minimum is unnecessarily restrictive.

Forgive my ignorance mate, but does this mean we will be back on the stock market shortlyAt the moment they haven't set the price because of the process - but assuming it is 20p or thereabouts that would make it about 30million shares and the club currently has 390,658,857 shares circulating - so abut 8% - these are new shares.
Thank you. Think I’ll get us all one each and gift them to kids eventually when they know what “I promise not to ever sell them Daddy” meansNormally you would buy in just one name and then gift transfer at no cost to other names, also saves on broker fees.
No, I dont think we will be publicly traded anytime soon.Forgive my ignorance mate, but does this mean we will be back on the stock market shortly
Also don’t want to derail the thread but this approach is a body blow to c1872.Interest registered
Given the concerns raised about C1872 (don't wish to derail the thread), this is an ideal way for a supporter such as myself to invest in the club and have a say (albeit a small one).
Haha. Shareholding is not my forte. Although I plan to get some of these and might start a stocks and shares ISA or something in the near future.Keep off the drugs Gecko LOL
Not a chanceCan't imagine King will be too happy about this - does anyone think he will have any chance of getting his investment back through the Club1872 scheme now?
