Are you a member of an RSC out of curiosity?
If not then I’m sorry, but you obviously do not see the effort a lot of the boys who run these buses go to in order to make sure everything runs smoothly and enough members travel to away games so they can run a bus without taking too much of a financial cost.
You think the solution is decreasing the number of members who will travel to games with a ticket and eventually put these supporters clubs off the road?
RSC’s rely on the CCCS as much as they do on the RSC allocations to simply run buses to away games. By saying that they’re getting ‘two bites of the cherry’ is all well and good, but RSC’s have been seen to allocate tickets in a better manner than Rangers in all honesty, by rewarding loyalty with tickets.
Now, I understand your viewpoint and why you may view this as unfair, and I know where you’re coming from, I relied on the CCCS for years and only in the last couple seasons joined an RSC. What I must say is that by being a member of an RSC, I have noticed that they are integral in many supporters cases to get them to games, not everybody is fortunate enough to drive and public transport cannot be relied upon. They are integral to the Rangers support and should be supported, not punished for simply making the best of a bad system and using their own allocations.
