I have uploaded 77 teams and 33 nations to a 'random selector' website, each day I will ask it to pick 8 teams, so it should throw up different results each time.

*** GAMEPLAY ***

I will list the 8 clubs / nations selected at random

You need to name a player who has played for Rangers and the other club (actually played for, not just 'been on the books')

If it's a nation the player just needs to be that nationality, they don't need to have had a full cap.

Twist: once you name a player (example Ally McCoist) you cannot use either of those initials again (A or M)

See how many you can get

6 teams = a pass

7 teams = genuinely impressed

All 8 teams = i doubt it's possible but you get massive kudos

*** Here are your 8 teams ***

I’m sure @Unicorse has previously said that FIFA rules apply to this game!

Kamberi was born in Switzerland and is of Kosovan descent, which made him eligible to represent Switzerland, Kosovo and Albania. Kamberi played in youth internationals for Switzerland, and he scored for their under-21 team in a 1–1 draw against England in March 2016.

Kamberi was included in the Albania squad for the first time in November 2019. Delays in processing the paperwork required to transfer his international status from Switzerland to Albania, and a slight ankle injury, meant that he was unable to play in their matches with Andorra and France.

He may have been in the squad but Wiki and Transfer market have him never playing a game for Albania.
But played for Swiss.
It's a strange one.

Absolutely

FIFA rules apply to nationality

I will stipulate that this applies to country the player was born in and what country the player represented

Example, Richard Gough, born in Sweden but played for Scotland, both countries would apply

But, if for some reason someone finds out that Bob Malcolms grandad was born in Argentina, so is technically Argentinian,... meaning Bob Malcolm could play for Argentina, then FIFA rules do not apply as he never actually played for Argentina.

So no, you can't use Bob Malcolm as an Argentina player because his grandad was born there and "FIFA rules apply"

Seems he has switched his international status to Albanian and only red tape and an injury have stopped him from being capped. I would say being included in a squad would qualify as being Albanian! :))

So Kamberi as he hasn't played for Albania is a red card?
