RANGERS legends have been snapped having lunch at a celebrity haunt in the city's West End.

La Lanterna on Great Western Road welcomed Ibrox favourites Ian Durrant, Ally McCoist, Gordon Durie, Walter Smith, Kenny McDowall. The club legends are pictured with head chef Luca Conreno.

The restaurant shared the image on Facebook to the delight of fans and said: "Just a few familiar faces joining us for lunch."

The Italian restaurant chain, which also has a city centre base, is a favourite with Scottish celebrities. We reported that Rangers gaffer Steven Gerrard dined there last December.
In recent months, Wet Wet Wet star Marti Pellow and Hollywood actor Chris Pine have also eaten at the restaurant.

I saw Alfie in there about 6 months ago. My mad mate got a wee picture with him.

Apparently Durrant was asked if he wanted his pizza cut into four or six slices, he replied that he'll have four slices as he couldn't handle six.
:)

Sorry but sometimes the oldies are the goldies!
:)

They don't do pizza in there:)

Seriously. The hope street branch is the only Italian restaurant iv ever been in that did not do pizza.

I'm just sitting here wondering if they had parmesan cheese or black pepper on their pasta, or both?

Hats off to the Evening Times for that exclusive scoop.

Walter is oldest in that photo by far, yet has most hair...

The Evening Times prints a story about former Rangers men meeting up for lunch.
They also recently reported that a pub in the city centre had a late licence approved.
