Rangers Pre Season Videos

Nsiala and Robbie Fraser going at it there.

Cantwell prominent and looked to be doing well.

Wright looked to get an injury but recovered later.

Dessers banging them in like a real striker.
I’m convinced a lot of his poor chance conversion last season was pressure, if he’s staying then hopefully he’ll be a little more relaxed. (I hope we get better though)

From the latest training gallery which has been posted it doesn’t look like Tav is training. There is a pic of him on a bike but I can’t see any of him with the rest of the group. Can anyone spot him?

Not spotted him at all, saw Goldson warm up but never noticed him in the training games, must be some players have dedicated training regimes.

Edit, hadnt saw the last minute and spotted Goldson with a bib on!

He hasn't been involved in training since Tuesday last week, didn't play at the weekend, not involved today.

Injured? Just ticking over until he can move to Saudi?

He's not involved in the training in the video on RTV.

Last season, it was noticeable, particularly when our wingers got to the byline, that instead of looking up and picking someone out, they would for the most part, have their heads down and aimlessly hit the ball across goal in the hope of finding someone, only to play it straight to an opponent, thus squandering decent scoring opportunities.
It was telling and encouraging to hear both Clement and the new assistant manager, instructing the players to scan the pitch, to be aware and to play with their heads up.

I really hope that this is what Clement was hinting at when asked about the injury situation as a proper preseason under a proper manager could easily see us avoid this.
Wasn't even a hint, he outright said it in that interview not long after pre-season started. He said they were not physically prepared to play Thursday-Sunday/Wednesday-Saturday every week.

If its not being held at Il Ciocco in the Tuscan hillls, I’m not interested.
Those were the fucking days !! :)

Watched the extended video.

The intensity looks good.

Niko Raskin looks to be flying and it's an observation from much more than just the goal he scored.

Robbie Fraser showing Nsiala that you do not get time to faff on the ball here.

I am aware he travelled but Tav looks to be the only player not involved in the training.

Raskin does look like he's doing well, yeah.

Also thought Matondo showed up well too.

Seems that Sterling, Danilo and Lovelace aren't doing the full contact stuff along with Tav at the moment.

Seriously worry about all the bears who seemed to have suddenly forgotten how bad this guy is. Game after game he had the majority of us raging with his lacklustre displays and terrible finishing.

We have to move him on otherwise we simply won’t beat the filth with him leading our line.

Trust me I’ve not forgotten.

We’re clearly in a position though where we can’t just keep getting new players until some of the others are gone (with a fee).

In an ideal world I’d guess Clement would want Cantwell and Dessers to leave for £10m+ but we don’t live in an ideal world.

There is inevitably going to be a moment where we need to prepare for having some guys in the squad we don’t want there.

I enjoy the training videos.

It reminds me of the actual football and you suddenly start believing that maybe - just maybe - that player might have a great season. We can dream…

Hope Dani isn’t far away from full training and that Sterling isn’t injured again as he didn’t seem to be involved in the games.

Nico looking sharp and Clinton looks like a backup forward.
Does Jefte speak English? I know Dani was translating at the unveiling but if he’s known he was coming I hope he started lessons. We saw with Ridvan that can make a massive difference in integrating.

Found that very interesting hearing the instructions for Phil and his assistant
